The precious looks pretty awesome, but there is a long wait for it, has much technology and circuitry in it (hmmm) IMO that is something to go bad at some point. Also, if your going to not use it at higher voltages you really don't need all that. I second Firefly's recommendation on the GGTB, it's pocket friendly, all mechanical, has a locking button, can be used at 3.7v, 6v & 7.4v just by using different batteries.

thanks for the pics, and the info! That button would drive me insane however.. I like the Precious for it's simple look, the slim design ( as slim as you can get at those battery sizes ) and the button is nearly non existent.. I'm not sure I would buy one knowing the order/delivery times are measured in months at this point..

Can anyone tell me more about the proVari? Whats the ideal size for an every day PV mod? Ideal battery for 8hours use?

Side note, the ProVape ProVari was awesome until I saw pictures of it.. Looks like you'd be vaping out of a flashlight with a LED screen on it.

Trust me, the ProVari looks much better in person. It also gives you the ability to adjust voltage, check remaining batt volts and display your atty/carto ohms, all at the touch of a button.

16340 batteries would probably last me a day and just charge nightly. 18650 will last me well over a day and way into the next evening before I recharge and I vape all most constantly my pv barely ever leaves my hand and with low resistance cartos and atty's. Did you see how small the megalodon was when he takes the center section out? Its all mechanical can do 3.7, 6v and 7.4v.

Ok then guys. lets do this, since I am in the market.. this is what this thread is about, ProVari vs Megolodon vs Precise.. Which 16340 model is the best? Design wise, and as an every day vape.

Can anyone show me a landmark shot of an 18xxx PV, precise or other, next to say a US Quarter? I'm just having a hard time imagining driving and carrying a pv that big with me everywhere I go.

by the way, hows that button on the proVari? Looks like I would melt a hole in my leg carrying that thing

glad to hear the Provari looks good in person... it just looks like a hi-tech vibrator kin the product photos. :)

So, say I get the Precise 18650.. How long does the battery last? Any downside to the unit as far as design, battery life?
Well, it goes without saying (or should) that my vote is for the P18 ... since I've already shelled out the cash and am waiting on delivery.
So I haven't used it yet.

But, regarding the 18650 ... same battery as I've used in the BSB. It's a monster battery.
I have been unable to drain it on a full charge, using it exclusively all day with a LR atomizer. High Drain is unnecessary with a battery of this capacity. No question it will perform equally well in the P18, with the added aesthetics and obvious build quality of the P18 and its capability of using a couple 3V CR123a batteries for 5.2V operation. I don't know if I'll go the HV route, but it's nice to have the option available.

I simply can't afford to buy every mod out there that appeals to me. I looked at a bunch of them before choosing the P18. While I don't have it in hand yet, I am confident that I won't be disappointed. I will be disappointed a bit if it isn't delivered this week though, LOL.

There are lots of big battery mods out there. I would have to admit that appearance was a big factor in my choice of the Precise. My 2¢
