Out with the old, in with the new!

So I quit smoking almost a week ago, and started vaping. I had my moms old pen, it was 3-4 years old. Started having issues with the coils, and couldn't really taste flavors etc, so I decided since I had saved $ by not buying cigs I would take that money and get something new. I ended up getting the eleaf iJust 2. A lot different than what I was use to with my mom's old one. I also got 2 new juices @ 3mg nic level. I also got the same name brand but flavor is "sinful" but I haven't been able to put down ......... long enough to try it. So they gave that flavor a great name haha.

Now I think im getting "smokers cold" because my chest feels like I just smoked 3 packs of cigs in 20 min, and a few other "cold like" symptoms, but at the same time, I feel fine.

Congrats on quitting!! That "cold" is normal. I had the same symptoms when I quit smoking and starting vaping. It'll clear up soon.

Welcome and congrats on quitting!

You may notice a few symtoms from quitting smoking but they will pass with time. These can sometimes be confused as side effect of vaping so here's a list of some of them.

Congrats Melissa. You are about to embark on a fascinating and fulfilling journey if you see it through.

I never thought I would quit smoking, until I put myself in the position to have ecigs or nothing. I resented the ecig for many years while attempting to quite with various forms of NRT. When I finally put myself in the position of ecigs or nothing, the learning curve both frustrated me and scared me. The first two months on a Ego and Pro-tank was a beach, and not the nice sandy kind of beach, more like the rocky one that you can barely stand on. I retrospect, it was more like the cliff over hanging a dark body of water, but you gotta jump.

I got the most ridiculous smoker's cough when i quit smoking. It will go away. Sometimes vaping high VG will make it feel like someone is sitting on my chest, so try different blends of juice to find your sweet spot.

Congrats.....I smoked for more than 45 yrs and tried everything to quit including hypnosis TWICE....lol
Now haven't had a stinky in over 2-1/2 yrs thanks to vaping.......you can do it to....it is soooo much nicer.

I also got the same name brand but flavor is "sinful" but I haven't been able to put down "crack loops" long enough to try it. So they gave that flavor a great name haha.
