I went to Outback with a good friend of mine, his wife, and little one. We sat down and I showed them my new 510 and how it works. Also explained to them how much better it is than analog smoke. Anyways, the waitress comes up and I take a puff. She looks at me like she is getting ready to say something about not smoking (as the resturant like most now a days is non smoking)... she pauses and asks me what it is... being that my 510 is blue and doesn't look like a cig. I explained it to her and told her where to look online if she wanted to try it (as she said she was a smoker). I sat there ate my food, drank my beer, and vaped. No odd looks or anything (that I noticed anyways).
I have also vaped in lots of other places... I really don't get any looks or questions usually.
