Over night storage

What do you do? Do you dis-assemble and place in velvet lined cherrywood boxes? Drip tips come off and rubber stoppers go on to prevent evaporation to your current carto? I'd imagine batteries go on the chargers. and probably a series of filling and topping offs. *** Those that use cartos only, how do you store yours over night?

I always put a condom on the mouth end of any used-but-not-empty cartos. Probably not necessary, but it satisfies some OCD need in me.

I keep any freshly recharged batts in the velvet pouches, and as I've said elsewhere, I fall asleep with 3 batts on chargers and 1 in my hand.

Since I have to be awake for work at 2am, and it will be my very first day in 30 some odd years to not have an analog, I am thinking tonight mine will be all put together and within arms reach for waking up!

Congratulation! You will make it through the day with flying colors and if the analog cravings hit, just remind yourself about all the yuckies... not to mention that any physical progress (toward taste gaining, lung clearing, etc) you have made would have to start back over if you messed with that analog again. Gah! The worst thing I did was visualization so that the -taste- of analog had a mental image association of licking an ashtray with gusto. Not quite hypnosis but if you do picture yourself doing that while smoking, well, you'll stick to the vaper pretty easily.

Actually the main reason I quit before all my packs were gone is because they now taste like crap to me...so it's not even an issue at this point. vaping some of my stronger stuff right now before bedtime and gonna have one hooked up to my PT and ready to go when the alarm goes off...

I think it's decided that i'll just leave the condom on the mouth piece and let it lay out. I have another battery that's full so I'm not worried about this batt's charge in the morning. Also, just loaded it with pancakes. Not spectacularly fond of them as a food... but maybe as a scent? Eh...

I have all the fully charged batts not in rotation in their velvet bags, two king diamond batts in the carrying case, one smaller batt with carto and drip tip in a velvet bag, one batt with drip and carto in the lanyard hanging off the headboard of the bed, four fully charged manuals in the fix kit, and whatever batt (s) that is drained on the charger (s)... My night stand is covered in V4L items... And in the bottom drawer a collection of 23 bottles of juice......

FYI ... might not want to leave a carto on an auto PT as they can heat up by themselves. I still keep a battery on the night stand for just in case. Ahhhh security.

I just dump all my manuels cartos end up in a candy dish..I keep 6 filled at all times. The few times I use an auto I lay it on it's side on a stand my grandson made me. there isn't enough evaporation over night to bother me.

SO you're saying that I should come visit... and that's with the understanding that you'd probably about 18 bottles of juice, and two less batts when I leave Female btw, Maiah-maia, mya, mia... Clearly this is not my real name but one I've used for various things for a while. "mae" is the imaginary middle name, thus Maiah-Mae Now you can mam me all you please -giggles-

That's good to know about the evap. That was what I am most worried about, mostly because I don't own any juice as of yet.

Off hand, if any of them do get dry, can a few drops of tap water extend the life a little? (say, 30 minutes or less)

With an auto battery, make sure you remove the cartomizer before you put a condom on it! The vacuum can certainly force juice down into the battery and ruin your morning.

Me? I give the carto a half-twist so it can't make contact with power and then toss it on the night stand, or back in my pocket.

I make sure covers are on all of my unused carts and I keep one ready to go strapped to my kindle to keep it from rolling off the night stand.

I don't recommend the use of water in the carto..it will make the juice too runny and get in the battery if you have auto batts or leek out at the conection between the batt and the carto. Also be careful to dry your cartos if you rinse them out. (spinning, standing on end.)
To extend the use of your carto, refill with the same or similar juice.

ZOMG... that was what I was thinking. Somehow I have in my head that Mr. Adam is a Carto hoarder... like a college guy has beer cans, his binge of choice is cartos. Little tubes filled with fluff stuffed in the compactor, hanging in the wrack of the dish washer, laying in pots of water, inches on the bedroom floor by his night stand... XD
