Over run with vapers,,,,,,,,,

My daughter got married just over a week ago,,,,,,

since most of my family had to fly to get here, they stayed after the wedding for several days,,,,,

I wanted to treat my mom and sisters to some fun time after the wedding, and so we rented a cabin at a camp ground close to St Petersburg, FL.

We were literally OVER RUN with vapers,,,,,,,,I am so not kidding,,,,,,,,,,everywhere I LOOKED there were vapers,,,,,left, right and center LOL

Someone told me there was a vapor convention in the area,,,,,,unfortunately,,,I missed it LOL.

I am totally bummed out about that LOL.

I would have tried to make that if it weren't for my son and his wife having a baby and I was in Michigan.
I hope it is a yearly thing. If it is, I will certainly try next year!!! Did you get to talk to some of them?

Not long ago, my daughter and I had to pack up our two cats and our important documents and go to our neighbor's house to take cover from a tornado warning. Crazy thing is that when arrived, all the adults were carrying around their PVs. One lady dropped her battery on the way over and a few of us were offering up extras that we had. (Yes, I also brought my 'bug out vape bag.) After the threat of the tornado, we were all saying "Hey, try this flavor! Here, let me put some of this juice in your tank." There were approximately 7 or 8 adults there. As you can imagine we were vaping with insanity with the impending weather.

Yup...VapeStock 3 was June 7 and 8 at Indian Rocks Beach near St. Pete...it was a blast (but dang hot and muggy).

Oh it wasn't that bad LOL,,,,,,,,,my daughter had a wedding in the pouring rain (liquid florida sunshine) on the 8th,,,,,,,so I was glad for the nicer weather LOL.

I talked to quite a few of them,,,,,,,,but by the time I figured out what was going on, most of them had gone LOL. I hope it's yearly as well! I'd love to go next year!

There are not very many visible vapers here, I wish there were. Either they are all hiding or it hasn't caught on that much yet.

lol...it was HOT inside the convention hall. There were hundreds of people milling about with the doors open and no AC. We had to go sit in the car for half an hour with the AC blasting after a couple of hours. Around 4 p.m. they closed a few doors and cranked up the AC and it got a lot better as the crowd thinned out a little...lol.

Still had a lot of fun. Would go again with no reservations...AC or no.

Yes that's pretty incredible for Florida... Actually it's unforgivable... I'm from St. Pete myself and there is no way that I would be in any building without AC..

If fact I normally wont even vist my family any months other than Nov,Dec,Jan, Feb... same time as the snowbirds go there. My mon runs here AC from March - Oct... and basically if she's running the AC she knows I am not visiting..

it depends on the year,,,,,,,but I pretty much run my AC year round,,,,,,it might just be for an hour or so in the warmest part of the afternoon, but there's almost no day I don't run it for at least an hour or two,,,,,,

3 winters ago, however,,,,,,we froze our BUTTS off,,,,,,we had to switch over to HEAT every night! Now that was a novel experience! LOL.

There are probably 10 or so vapers at my job, incl 3 of us in my dept. I've since seen about 10 in the wild.
It's pretty cool IMHO

I spent an hour once, talking to a very nice man at Disney World about our PVs,,,,,he was from Germany, but his English was pretty good, so we were able to talk without too many problems,,,,,,

He's the one who got me interested in EVODs,,,,,,

First, I want to say Congrats to your daughter!! Do you like your New Son In Law? I dread the day my Baby girl is old enough to even think about dating, let alone marriage..she's 10 going on 16, so it won't be too long.


Anyhow, I met my very first Vapors a few days ago. Some people opened a Vape store about 1 hour from me (closest to me..before, it was further) anyhow, someone here on ECF posted that there was a new store opened..so hubby and I loaded our 2 kids up and drove up there. It was really neat to finally meet another Vapor....and to go to my first Vape store! They were SO nice and helpful!

I did learn that about 20 miles away from where we are going to in TN for Vacation is a Vape shop. I've ordered from them before online...may have to drive on over there and check out their store.

He'll do,,,,,,,I mean he's not nearly good enough for her,,,,,,but he's gainfully employed, has never raised a hand to her, and is terrified of my husband,,,,,
