Since it's your thread and your idea, you should maybe start first, so we get an idea of what you are looking for and why? I'm much older than you, so I'm more sure of who I am than I ever was and handling challenges has been pretty much of a daily thing for me. I'm still here, still pushing forward and still laughing and loving. :)

In life, overcoming challenges and obstacles in many types is required. Battling our struggles and fears determines who we are. Base on experiences, can you determine who you are right now on handling challenges in life?

I'm Not sure I would say that "Battling our struggles and fears determines who we are.".

IMO, they can Help a person. They may Also Hold us Back sometimes. And they will Influence how a person is Perceived by those around them. But I Do Not Believe that Past Experiences define Us in any Totality.

If so, a person who say Drank for 25 Years and who had Unsuccessfully tried to Quit many times would have No Chance of Quitting Today. Or a person who Successfully dealt with the Passing of someone close or a family member should be able to cope with someone Dying Today.

For Me, I define Myself by My Actions in the Present. And my Previous Experiences may put Tools in My Toolbox, they do Not Predicate that I will take them out when they are Needed. Or that I will be Unable to Overcome something that I have Never Overcome before.

Yeah it's a daily thing for us since everyday is a new challenge. What I want to emphasize here is that, do you know how deep you are in handling challenges? There are people cannot handle some challenges that they encountered, they will easily quit. This thread hopefully will give some insights on how to handle challenges with courage and determination to others that can help them. Age really matters here because the older you are, the deeper you've experienced life and your input can be a lot of help to those in need. Base on my experiences, handling challenges has a lot to consider. We need to be aware of the signals our body is telling us. We need to put in mind that facing difficulty will make us a stronger person. We have to learn to say NO when we mean it. We need to find ways to build our body emotionally and physically during times of difficulty. We need to remember that everything is not in our control. We need to focus in the present, don't worry about the past or the future, be in the present. And lastly, we need to develop self-expression to help alleviate tension and worry.

Well if you did manage it then that would be amazing. Thanks for answering my question, zoiDman. But can I at least ask one question? Have you already tried getting your own counselor? What benefits did you gain from it?
