When you say overheating, do you mean burnt taste, or is the battery actually getting hot? Not real sure of the specs for that battery, but the EVOD 2 is a dual coil and may be pushing your battery to its limits.
Yeah I'm still not clear what's overheating either. It looks like a standard fixed voltage eGo style battery from the product page. That 1.8 ohm coil should only be about 9.8 watts with a fully charged battery, so not a problem there I would think.
If you mean that your atomiser tank is getting warm, that's perfectly normal. If the thing were stone cold after vaping, that would be a bigger problem.
The coil is meant to produce heat, and since it directly contacts the sides of the tank where the leads connect for a complete circuit, heat will be transferred from the inside to the outside.

Hey, Oshe...try another coil and see if you get the same result. Make sure the little silicone sleeve is on the coil.
