Hello,
Been a while since I've popped over to the forum, I've been pretty content with my volt/ce3 set up so I haven't been keeping up with the forum.

A few weeks or so ago I jumped onto the SI chat thingo, basically I left my charger at home and only had my spinner charger at work, I asked if I could use it with my volt batteries (two less than a month old), the lady said yes. So I charged them up, which took ages, and didn't work. It also killed the batteries.

At the time I was a week from going away for work and needed more than the one good battery I had left, so I ordered 2 batteries and paced for the top shipping, total of $60. Expensive I know.

Anyway the last tracking was in Chicago I think, on the 15th, to now the 1st still no batteries. I've raised a ticket, the response was to the point in the second sentence, "it's out of our hands".

Can anyone point me in the direction of an email address for USPS international mail issues? And has anyone paid for the top shipping before, if so was it quicker than normal?

Much thanks in advance. I know a few Aussies that use this forum and SI.

Hi I am very sorry for the issue. Do you know who you spoke with as the spinner charger should only be used with the spinner?

Also you can contact USPS here:
Domestic & International USPS Tracking™
1-800-222-1811
Monday - Friday 8 AM - 8:30 PM ET
Saturday 8 AM - 6 PM ET

I can't remember the name. I remember it was a lady but that's about it.

I called USPS who said they can't do anything and the only thing that can be done is after 30 days a claim can be filed by SI, this can't be filed by me.

I didn't realise that the first class shopping is only advantageous whilst in the US, the is no extra tracking or haste once it's left the US. It maybe something you should consider mentioning on your site.

I totally understand your frustration. I am sorry... it is really a customs issue in Australia... once it lands on your side :(. First class is the cheapest but has no international tracking. Priority and express are very similar with international tracking...but Express will get it out of the USA a few days faster then priority.

It did arrive, the same amount of time that normal shipping does. If this is as you stated above, but I will paraphrase here; "expected". I can only suggest that this is made more clear as the price of shipping does not benefit SI or the customer.

Personally, from experience I know the cart settings can be modified to remove that shipping option for that destination (I have set up several Aussie e-stores this year). At least you can in Shopify and Volusion. Something to think about.

Although my wallets been hurt, I'm glad I got the item in the end, USPS and Auspost were less that helpful, I can only imagine the pain of filing for a lost package.
