I applaud you that you had the dedication to do that. I just know the OP has a lot of time constraints and wants to keep the funding to the minimum. I was just giving him my humble opinion. That's all.

sorry, if it came off as directed at you. it wasn't. i've been on this forum for very short time, and i have seen too many post about for "advanced" users. and i understand the reason. but at the same time, it's not really all that hard to understand that if you run low resistance, it will draw more current from the battery and if the resistance is too low and the battery can't handle it that will cause vent, and possible explosion. so know the battery being used and what your coil resistance is. i run samsung 25r battery. that has CDR of 20 amp. i won't push more than half that. that means i won't build a coil resistance lower than .4 ohm. if you go below that you want something with CDR of 30 amp.. sony VTC4 or 5. there are some other things to know if you are doing very low sub ohm, but i'm not doing very low sub ohm, and i'll leave that to others.
