OXVA after the well-deserved success of its first mod (Origin Aio 18650) sent me a sample of the new Oxva X with an integrated 1,600mAh battery, I would like to thank them and I wish them best wishes, by analyzing this latest addition with pleasure.

The packaging on the front shows the image of the mod, the brand name, the product name, an adhesive label that identifies the color (coffee gold) and the e-liquid capacity (2ml).

The salient features, and content are summarized on the back, there are the logos, brands, scratch and check, a hologram, bar code and all the addresses (physical and social) of the manufacturer.

As in the previous version, the packaging maintains its elegance and opens like a gull wing, the transparent plexy with the characteristics of the product shown allows you to see the Oxva X below. The magnetized side panel enhances the feedback.

The Origin X has a rectangular shape with all beveled edges, holding it in your hand you perceive an excellent balance of weight, with the central frame in zinc alloy.

The first of the side panels houses five control LEDs, beneath them a well-sized fire button and finally the "OXVA" writing arranged vertically.
The other panel shows, together with its pleasant coloring, the usual "OXVA" writing arranged in the same direction.

The zinc alloy frame shows the adjustment and lock / unlock buttons, the charging socket is located on the opposite side.

The cartridge compartment contains a pair of numerical codes, two screws and three spring-loaded and gold-plated contact pins.

Mark "C E", disposal logo and integrated battery capacity are shown on the bottom of the Mod.

Pod:
The Pod contains up to 2ml of liquid, the mouthpiece is wide, with its duckbill design it is comfortable, the visibility of the liquid inside is good.

The rubber cap is effective, but to extract it is not always simple, to grab it you need good nails, the refill hole is sufficiently large.

Once initialized with the liquid, the coil is pushed into the 2ml transparent Pod.

The coils supplied in the kit are the Mesh Coil UNI DTL 0.3Ω range 30-40W pre-assembled and the Mesh Coil UNI DTL 0.5Ω range 20-25W, separately you can buy the specific coil for MTL 1.0Ω range 10-15W and the regenerable RBA base for DIY.

The air adjustment ring allows precise adjustment from completely closed to fully open, allowing you to screw both the RBA and all the UNI-Coils available on it.

UNI RBA:
The Rba kit sold separately contains:
- RBA base
- Threaded bell
- 510 adapter to initialize the coils on any electronic mod
- Premade coil Ni80 0.6Ω 27Ga 2.5mm 18-23W
- Screwdriver
- Replacement screws
- Cotton

The threaded bell has a truncated cone internal profile of 9x8mm, the chimney is incorporated into it and has a 4mm hole and an o'ring.
The deck has two sealing orings, a 2mm diameter under-coil hole, the cross screws although small are not a problem and the coil leg are effectively stopped by the two side feet, the two cutouts for the cotton have been chosen for this deck instead of the usual buttonholes.

How the OXVA X works:
1 Turn the device on / off, click five times on the fire button. The device vibrates for 0.5 seconds.

2 When the device is on, click on the fire button to vape, if the shot is prolonged beyond 8s the automatic protection intervenes by blocking the delivery.

3 Click the side button to choose your preferred power level from one to five. At each choice of power the appliance vibrates for 0.5 seconds

4 To lock / unlock the device, keep the side button pressed for 3s, as confirmed, the device vibrates for 0.5 seconds.

Battery indications:

1- Green LED: the remaining battery level is between 70-100%
2- Yellow LED: the remaining battery level is between 30-70%
3- Red LED: the remaining battery level is between 1-30 &

The entire battery recharging cycle takes about 40 minutes, while the number of LEDs on represent the state of charge.

The OXVA kit intelligently associates the power step according to the installed coil in order to avoid burning it.

These are the safety protections:

Final thoughts:

In terms of construction and quality, the OXVA X confirms the good things I had already written for the OXVA Origin.

The Photon chip in this version with integrated battery, automatically manages each coil that we are going to use, by dedicating five selectable power steps.

The battery is continuously monitored by the color of the LEDs and it takes only 40 minutes to recharge completely at 2A.

Respectively to each operation that we will carry out such as: power on, off, lock, unlock, pod installation, power variation and recharge ... We will have a notification or "feedback" with vibration like a mobile phone. For me this is a very nice thing, some may not like it.

In the world of compact pod/mods with integrated battery in my opinion the new OXVA Origin fits very well and deserves to carve out its own space of success, on its side it has: 1600mAh of autonomy that for a pod are really many, good handling, coil quality, the best air regulation on the pods on the market, finally an RBA to learn how to regenerate.

Using any of the mesh-coils DTL that is 0.3Ω or 0.5Ω, for a mod that at full charge only reaches 40 watts of power, the clouds of steam created are dense and of impressive size. These coils have been designed to offer great performance at low wattages, already at level 1 (12W for 0.5Ω) and (20W for 0.3Ω) they are widely exploitable, therefore without requiring too much power from the integrated 1,600mAh cell to the full advantage of its autonomy.

The 1.0Ω coil (sold separately) is specific for MTL and the chip manages it really well in its range of use. With the air flow open and going up to level 4 or level 5 it's awesome !! It almost looks like a cloud, closing the buttonhole and vaping at level 1 (7W) the puff closes very much.
As with OXVA's Origin, I did about a week with all three Coils, with consistent performance with no drop in flavor.
Ultimately, I recommend it because it is carefully designed, the pod system is equipped with very valid interchangeable coils and has a chipset that manages the battery and the power levels well for each coil installed are optimal.
