I just got my silver ipv2 delivered from elev8vape. When I put battery in it started at 15watts not 50. Also when I remove the battery and re insert it it goes to 15watts again not 50 watts or where I had it set.
When no atty is on it , it will read 1ohm and does not say check atomizer when fired.

Any insight into this version?

Btw, it was sent out Saturday, it wasnt a 1st batch...
Lil confused

Edit*

Also mine came w screwdriver, 4 screws plus an additional brass or gold 510 screw.
I havnt seen reviewrs or other people mention they got a replacement 510 screw.. if im mistakin please pardon my ignorance.

I think it might be the silver version vs the black version. My silver one does everything yours does. Perplexing.

But when did you recive silver one?

Also we should all start putting product #s up with posts to narrow things down more accurately.

Mine is ipv2 Silver # L0386
Haha my bad I thought you asked where I got it, not when. I got it like 2-3 weeks ago. I don't have a screwdriver with me, can't check batch number.

I think it can be upgraded/adjusted by the manufacturer, just not by users. I remember P4Y saying they can program the firmware to say different things when it starts up, so at least minor changes are possible

I wonder if they will offer it over the net soon or thru their website. Would be nice.

? Can you block specific people or something?

Yes, if you find someone that you don't care to engage with or you don't want to see their posts you can do that , i have been aggravated enough with myself at times but it doesn't work at ignoring yourself lol.

Has yours had any faults or problems you have noticed? Quirks etc, besides what I mentioned?

Just curious as to wether i should send back for "newer firmware" version.

Thanks!

With these mods the SX 330 chip is not upgradable , someone talked about a SX330 S which is upgradeable via USB but not these versions.

Lots and lots of talk about the upgradeable topic earlier in this thread and others , did you think the model you got was upgradeable ? Did your B&M tell you that.

I wouldn't let it bother you either way , fact is you love it.

No, its worked great, even after a pretty bad drop. No complaints about function from me, the back door not being flush and it not having a gasket under the back cover kinda bothers me, but that's minor stuff, not function.

I had posted that info as well.
In the purchase list it sshows ipv2S next version after ours coming in 3 weeks has the S chip which is user upgradeable. It has the same chip as ipv3, only diff is ipv3 is dual battery n slightly diff bodied top part kind of loppd off the top corners so its shaped like a roof.
I also heard it was going to have 4 back screws but ipv2S and ipv3 current visuals show only 2 screws not 4

Thats exactly what i read as well , i don't think it's a big deal about the SX 330 S since it's one major drawback is still one 18650 , thats a big deal to many people so the dual sounds like the obvious choice here.

Got to be honest though if i had a choice i would take the upgradeable chip version lol, who am i fooling.

We were talking about the manufacturer making minor changes themselves, not being user upgradeable. At least that's what I was talking about.

If the manufacturer can upgrade the regular sx330 chip then there has got to be a way for us to as well.
I agree I hope they release a instruction to do so. I fear it may be through different means then the usb port though.

Also doubt they will as they make more money on people buying the new product.
Maybe we will get lucky and somone w more technical knowledge of the chips will have some insight

That's not necessarily true, the manufacturer could put different firmware in the chip when they are made and have them be set that way, and it would still be an "upgrade" from the past chip. Also I don't think the USB port interfaces with the chip on this version, like you were saying, and most people aren't going to have the technical knowledge to do it any other way.
