Yeah... I'm cleaning mine. I'm not supporting this company..unless they address that. P4U can afford to pay for everything, until they can sell the 2 for the same price, and the s for a good bit more to cover it.

Yihi have support in the US? Do they sell the touch sensor, or anyone have thoughts on a better one? I may just have the electronics firm down the street I work check it out for me.

I don't plan on selling mods..it's a lot of work, dealing with people like me..but things happen.
Edit..I'll find a qc sticker, cuz that is the same one I see everywhere else..most commonly at least.

Have you seen any info about getting that pita inside cover off ? If i could figure that out i'd work on it myself .

Just sent my own email to ipv. If enough people send emails to them about this, maybe they will do something about it. Maybe.

I hope not , sending an email to iPV won't work , you got to send it to P4U and Asmodus.

The qc sticker is covering up the other screw...I haven't taken it off... but it seems that's all holding it in place after removing the other screw.. I'm sure that is how they're insuring against "warranty fraud."

Lol..shake that bear.

It would be interesting to see the data on how many ipv2's had to be sent in for warranty issues. It is also lame that 2 owners barely had their mods in hand before the 3 was being pre-ordered.

What is the shipping cost? 7 bucks each way? The price of a bottle of liquid that was not to taste? Either way if one way shipping is on the warranty then that should be that.

Your kidding lol, after trying to pry it off with industrial heat treated tools , setting off a few small scale detonations in my kitchen and wailing away with a sledge your now telling me there is a hidden screw underneath the QC sticker ? Thats just great , really great.

Sending it in for service just one time has now increased the mods cost by $14.00 , i expected this type of stuff with Cloupor but not with P4U .

What bugs me the most is the gall the guy has , their (who gives a sh_ _ attitude and deal with it ) stance . Yeah , i'll deal with it alright , i'll be waiting outside Asmodus's warranty center when you get off work punk.

Nobody is going to tell me my warranty terms have changed without suffering severe consequences lol.

The asmodus thing is extortion, plain and simple! They don't tell you about the cost till they have "captured" your mod. Now you got a $100 mod and you have to pay to get it back... That's basically extortion. So if you don't pay, do they keep your mod? That would now be theft of property. How are they justifying their actions? They "claim" P4U is not paying them for shipping. That sounds like a contract issue and customers with faulty products should not be victimized for it.

Hey, HDM , you do know that i was yanking your chain right ? (Well not yankin it like it sounds), i think pulling your chain is more appropriate ( not too thrilled with how that sounds either)

Kidding works , lets go with that.

I did send it to Greenleaf/ pioneer4you. Sorry about the ipv in the post. I figure if asModus is not going to do anything, maybe Greenleaf needs to get a different warranty center.

So after cleverly editing the terms of the warranty on their site they send me this:

" We are correct in what we are doing. .It is listed in Paragraphs 3 and 4. .We are not paid to provide these services by Pioneer4You. We are only provided the units. .They don't cover the shipping or reimburse us for time. .We have our own company to run. .We provide this service as a courtesy to the US vape community so they don't have to send it off to China and pay international shipping/import fees and wait up to 2 months for a return. .I'm sorry you're not happy, but people overall like us. .We cannot make everyone happy and I won't bother trying to. .I know it isn't possible. .According to the law, we are completely within our rights to charge customers shipping and any other fees deemed necessary should something not be covered under warranty. .We don't make this product, therefor we are not responsible for it being defective. .We only warranty it as a courtesy. "

So they can basically rewrite the warranty as they see fit. P4U is no better as they refuse to respond to over 5 emails to 5 different employees. These 2 are on my new [emoji90] list! Worst customer experience EVER! End Rant! [emoji111]

They can't rewrite a warranty...

We ordered a unit. P4U has to pay for warranty charges..but maybe not.lol I'm not a lawyer..if I was, I wouldn't be laying on the couch from screwing up my ankle at the city skatepark.. I'd be putting my ankle up cuz I caught an edge down Vail's moguls..:)

Paraphrased: "We're here for the benefit of the vape community...: lol

It IS NOT listed in paragraph's 3&4. They simply changed how the warranty is written on their site, today, that is DEFINITELY illegal! They just now changed the terms of the warranty to suit their needs, which is strictly forbidden in the law!!!!!

They never read the laws, and if they did they sure as hell don't understand them!!! By the way, asMODus's name is the one on the warranty card, so they ARE the ones responsible.

I am going to be contacting a lawyer and the AG tomorrow and sending them all the information, including the fact that asMODus just now changed the wording on the warranty (and then posted it publicly online, they can't deny they broke the law now!)

Luckily for me i have some very experienced lawyers in my family and have been discussing this with them , glad it won't cost me anything but can't say the same for Asmodus.

Hey Asmodus , if your not getting anything from P4U thats your fault but please spare us the "were helping the vaping community" crap , thats just insulting everybody's intelligence, plain and simple.

I, for one have and will continue to spread the word about your disgraceful business practices so count on hearing more negative press about your outfit for a long time to come .

Time to hit up the west coast forums soon lol.

I'm taking mine to get measured Monday..Co-worker just got married, so I'm only tech working this week.. probably going to be slow. . If someone doesn't already know.

Another question.. since P4U pulled this.. any thoughts on the manufacturer of the smy god? I've never heard of them..not going to just settle with Google for feedback.

I have never heard of them either but it seems many are willing to take a chance with it based on how it looks , well thats what i have been reading.

I am real skeptical about how it looks , something about it (just my opinion ) looks cheap , the metal connection point looks extremely cheap (like a tin metal) but i guess we will find out soon enough.

I would not take a chance without knowing full warranty details though since it is unproven.
