I wouldn't give up just yet; keep in mind it's nearing Thanksgiving, following up Christmas. I've been ordering from V4L since October (not too long, I know) and have never waited more than the 3 days for my things.

Fed Ex and UPS will get busy too, and while I've had bad experiences with them as well, I wouldn't give up on them wholly.

General, did you ever find out why they kept your package so long.......

No clue whatsoever... My guess is that JFK is just real busy. I think the risk of confiscation is REAL small. I went to the FDA website where they list all the confiscated packages - there are a total of 50 shipments that were seized. Most of these shipments put "e-cigarettes and e-liquid" on the manifest. Most chinese companies are smart enough to say electronic lung device or candle scents or metal tubing - the list goes on.

If the declared value is above a certain dollar amount ($800?) it's gonna get looked at. If $2000 worth of 510's go through as a $35 box of junk, right through with it...
