I was a very fit smoker for years and my vitals were average at best on doctor visits. I was injured and forced to retire, packed on a lot of weight, and had switched to vaping. Even with my physical activity levels being much lower, having constant nerve pain in my spine, and being on medications I have had less visits to the doctor and he says I'm healthier than before. He has fully endorsed my vaping habit and now that I'm on a proper diet and exercise regime is very excited.
So many things in this world negatively impact your health. Fast food, processed foods, air quality, work conditions, stress, physical activity levels, family history/DNA, etc that vaping isn't even on the radar for causes. If I get cancer tomorrow I'll be blaming the years of smoking 1.5 packs a day.
