Hi all.

I could use a bit of advice. I have been a bit troubled by vaping recently, as it is totally tearing my mouth apart. It is way, way more than just VT. My tongue is getting actual irritated bumps on the sides of it, and the roof of my mouth is raw. Not fun at all. Admittedly, I have not been drinking a ton of water. But I really do not vape a ton. Maybe 2-3 mls a day max.

Also - I vape exclusively NT juice - so I know the PG is of good quality. After getting advice in PM's from other veteran ECF members, and searching some threads - I am essentially convinced that I am actually one of those rare people who do, in fact, have a PG sensitivity. This is WAY more than just VT, and I never had any similar symptoms prior to vaping.

It is also noteworthy to mention that this is not from me ceasing smoking, as I never really smoked more than 2 packs prior to vaping. I have read many threads about prior smokers having mouth issues while they are "coming off" the nasty stinkies- but this is not the issue for me. Further evidence of this being a real PG allergy/sensitivity. My mouth feels torn up like all day. It sucks.

I am going to try to vape as many MaxVG juices in the coming days as possible to test the waters. I have a rather large NT stockpile, but virtually all of my juice is non-maxVG.

I do have the Roundhouse, and was hoping that someone could tell me the other juices that only come in MaxVG - as I never ordered any Virus, PBC, etc. in maxVG.

Thanks so much for any feedback!

Custard's Last Stand, Creme Brulee, and Grandma's Cinnamon Danish have MaxVG NZ option. The first version of PBC (PM Clark for availability) also had this option, the new one does not. I also have PG problems, it wrecks my throat, and I use the extremely high VG 6mg mix on this page.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...vg-flavor-boosted-finished-liquid-primer.html

Currently on the menu there is Hummingbird, Roundhouse, and Ranier Cherry. All of these are full VG top to bottom and do not need to be mixed like the NZ option. Gravity is also available at times in a MaxVG mix (PM Clark for availability), for me personally this was still too much PG, and I can only vape it in small doses as it hurts my throat.

Cherokee I think you need some Folate (B-12) drops from a health food store. I'm not saying this will fix your PG reaction but the Folate heals the mouth fast. I can go on a Zotz bender and my mouth will be bloody and raw and everything hurting so I drop 10 drops in my mouth and swish it all over and it eases the pain and the sores and cuts heal right up. :thumb:

There are more than you'd think that have PG sensitivity. I get it too - found out just 6 weeks in early this year & had to change everything. I get a sore mouth, throat, eczema on my face ..a whole boatload of little problems, plus it affects my breathing quite severely if I use too much.
I'm much better with VG, but it does cause me a bit of throat congestion especially in the mornings. I can live with that.

Nicoticket base liquids are likely the best quality you can get, so hopefully, you'll be fine once you get something you can use.

I originally tried the stock 50/50 mix on advisement from Clark but it was still too much for me. It was definitely smoother than some of the others I've tried. Keep hoping Clark is going to knock down a wall and use the extra space for the NZMaxVG expansion wing.

If i dont let me juice sit for sometime before i crack em open and vape them, my mouth gets torn up with sores....got some now from the cheesecake i have been hitting...which i think i got from the batch that was mixed on 8/5...not sure cause i never asked Clark :)

anyhow that bottle i got was bottled 8/21...virus also does it to me...i cant remember if i ever had that happen with CLS and CB because I am stocked to the point where I dont even touch those until they have reached at least 8 weeks in my possession

I usually try to wait 4 weeks after i get a juice and it seems to minimize the sores at that time and gets lesser and lesser the more the juice ages until i dont get the sores anymore...
if i sit on the juice for 8 weeks i dont ever get any sores....hope that helps :)

Yes! could be the 'Therapy Cupboard'!

Even adding some of the 18mg PG/VG ones at 15-20% to MaxVG is proving noticeable to me this past week or two, so I'll need to just use one at a time carefully!

I noticed a difference in various VG liquids after I got used to noticing such things. I've only found two types that I can use with little trouble, and NT is one!

I had to give up on most of Velvet Cloud because it still irritated my throat, strangely their Chocolate Pudding did not bother me, I suspect the added distilled water or flavorings are the culprit there. I love Boba's Bounty but that one has way too much throat hit and makes me cough. All of the stuff from The Vape Kitchen I've tried has been like velvet with no problems at all. Wlad is the only other guy selling a quality PG base that is a little smoother, 70% VG from Ahlusion is pretty much my threshold. Grizzly Vapes has an elevated throat hit but plenty vapeable for me, I'm currently involved in a torrid affair with Koko Bear. All the NT MaxVG has been smooth sailing short of Gravity. PBC has a little more edge to it in the throat hit department though.

Even if you're only vaping a couple times a day correct water intake is important. Heck it's important if you don't vape at all. Definitely increase your water intake to the recommended 64oz a day, if not a little more. Even my mouth gets torn up if I don't, though I notice it more on fruity juices than anything else. I tend to stay at 60/40 and 50/50 to avoid my issues with PG. Hummingbird, Roundhouse, and Rainier Cherry are your full VG options. Also as others have said there are MAX VG options for other flavors as well so you can mix the PG down in your existing juices.

I have the opposite problem - I can't vape Max VG. Even 50/50 is sometimes too much, though I haven't paid enough attention to notice a pattern. Since NT doesn't offer a MAXPG option, I bought some pure PG that I can use to dilute them a little bit. I want to lower my nic, and my ADV doesn't come in NZ, so my only option is to dilute it with CB or CLS in NZ = MAXVG. So I will probably have to add some PG in there.

So you could either vape the MAXVG ones, or use them to mix other juices. If you don't want to mix another juice so you can keep the original flavor, try adding pure VG (PM Clark so he can tell you where to find the same VG he uses if possible).

Oh, well. Here's hoping Wakonda NZ doesn't come in MaxVg if and when it comes !

I can use a few of the Velvet Cloud: Night Shift and Chocolate Pudding plus an odd one that's not for everyday for me: Melomenon.
I have the Grizzly Polar Bear and also a couple of Quacks Goose Juice that I can use too. Plus a UK brand that's generally fine for me. I have a couple of Ahlusion somewhere but was a bit put off trying them because of the PG.
I love the NT ones though, and do so wish I could use them all, but at least there's some terrific ones that I can use!

Also, keep an eye out for Band Camp when that comes back around. Last time it had NZMaxVG option and if you like apples it's really good. I mixed my Band Camp 30ml NZMaxVG + 15ml of 18mg Frenilla. I've been vaping that on a daily basis and love it.
Now that sounds rather good! Must try that ...and have you tried a bit of GCD in it? I have that in mind to try it pretty soon.

That is one I really wish had the MaxVG option. I've run into a few people that can't handle VG during my struggles.

I haven't tried that yet. I've still got another 50ml of Band Camp NZ that hasn't been mixed with anything yet. GCD was one of the things I was considering. I haven't had any problems with Ahlusion despite the fact that most of them are 90% VG with the exception of Fijian Nights which you can get ALL VG. 70% VG from them is useable on a daily basis for me although I do prefer the higher ratios.

Just curious why you are vaping? Is it for the nicotine?

Me too! ...and H1N1, Clark says it goes flat in VG. Still, I'll try anything that's good quality in VG! :)

Ahlusion doesn't do international shipping. I recall getting mine from an EU source, and perhaps that had been made up in a different ratio ..mine is 70/30.

Hi Taki. Yes. It is purely for the nicotine. I am going through a really, REALLY tough time right now in my family life, and do not drink or do much else to relax and take my mind off things - so I picked up a few pack of smokes a few months ago - and then decided to switch to vaping.
