Paint rubbing off my stick!

Hi Ivapour and friends! I noticed that a small part of the paint on both sides at the end with the light is rubbing off my stick due to inserting and removing it from its case! This normally wouldn't bother me but as you probably all know by now its getting replaced due to its faulty switch when the new one arrives. Will it affect my warranty and I can still replace it? It is quite a noticeable spot! --EDIT-- not that noticeable though hehe!

I wonder if a coat of clear nail polish would help.

Whew! Glad I'm not the only one! I still like the case though, I used it on my belt all day today, plugged it into the Kensington to charge and vaped some unknown brand of 'atomized liquid' that had a hint of 555 in, the poor generic atomiser only lasted a total of 2 days use with cartridges before starting its dripping life hehe

Tribal, I have added a circular piece of foam to the switch, as that scuffs really badly if you put it down on any hard surface. So you are not alone, I hate it looking scuffed already when its just over a week old.

Thats a good idea, I could do that when my new one arrives, perhaps the sticky foam pads for putting under things to stop scratches to furniture would work !

Yes those pads would work, I used the foam that came around a bottle of TW juice, with a bit of tape over it...lol

Seeing as how I just recently discovered I can solder maybe I can also discover I know how to paint. With the stock paintjob already coming off I certainly am more inclined to 'candy cane' my stick.

That is nice! Hey what is this about a faulty switch? I have the manual version and every now and then the LED cuts out in the middle of a drag. It just stops for some reason...but I can go right back to it by pressing the button again. Anyone else have that issue?

I havent had that problem Fittech. The only time mine ever cuts out is when it needs a battery change or charge..

using some pieces of Invisible Shield by ZAGG.com i had left over from other kits i bought. It worked awesome on my mom's and GF STICKs. Its quite possible to buy clearance items from them and cut your own at a cheap price. I can vouch for its toughness on three cell phones and my 30gb Zune.
