Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I feel like I did in school when I got an A+ on something. A thought about the light-up end of the e-cig: Since it burns red, you could try painting it blue to make purple. Maybe those paints to make faux stained glass would work. Although I think it could peel off in time. Anyway, these are transluscent. Then again, a more opaque paint may work better. Maybe regular acrylic either just by itself, or mixed with some acrylic clear medium.

You're speaking art/craft language now and I don't understand, but great paint-job! :thumb:

Emp posted the perfect motto for the e-cig body shop: "Pimp my ...".

Pretty soon, we'd have a cable channel doing a reality series on a dysfunctional family of e-cig artists: Orange County ... Pimpers.

Hey, remember what evolved from the humble silver Zippo cigarette lighter.

I almost fell outa my chair with that one!!!

I have decided that painting though fun, is not worth the time. I've concluded that atomizers are disposable. I still wanted to decorate them though a bit and also for the purpose of telling the new ones apart from the old ones.

I went to Sally Beauty Supply and bought some acrylic nail decorations. These are tiny decals and rhinestones. After I stick them on the e-cig, I coat the decal and go slightly beyond the edge of the decal with a special topcoat called "For Rhinestones Only". This will make the decal or rhinestone permanent and only takes less than a minute to do this (far less time than my paint job). I tried to add a photo to this post, but was not successful. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Anyway, if you want to dress up your e-cigs a bit, this is a good and easy way.

Hey Dammit Janet! :D

I was just talking to my best friend about your painted ecigs a couple of days ago because we're still lamenting about not having pink e-cigs. But this new idea of yours is pretty cool too. I sent her the link to this thread so maybe she'll read it today and we can try some pink ribbon decals on ours with the topcoat and see how that works. But I did want her to see your painted ones.
