I'm sure that ab will be more than happy to have parties. :) I'm sure the cow will get adjusted to riding in an elevator. But, I hope that ab doesn't get a code violation for having a cow. Chicago is pretty strict on that kind of stuff.

The cow was sent to the meat packing plant, only to learn it was to old for good steaks. TT sent me an old cow:facepalm:

His mother in law is driving the MO. Troopers mad attempting to get Texas to take her back.

I'm quickly packing up my juice and will be on the run again. Maybe I'll head towards Ohio:confused:

You know, I think people there in Chaycawgo live in those big buildings that go way up in the air. I don't think they live in regular houses. Anyhow, I'll bet ab's going to be the only one in his neighborhood that has his own milk cow. I don't know how the cow will act going up in one of the elevator things. We don't have them around here and the cows never been in one. Neither has my wife or her mother. Hope they don't get sick in it.

And knowing my mother-in-law, she'll be going up and down the streets to invite everybody to ab's place for a party. She's real friendly that way. Ab will be having a lot of good times.

 if the cow is too old for steak, do I really want her milk:confused:

My neighbors, still laugh about the Necktie episode where Mrs T wrapped my leather briefcase around my throat like it was a skimpy tie.

My house was a "regular" house. Now it's the house everybody drives past laughing at the crater in my driveway left after Mrs T took her foot off my throat and I took off runnning...

Wow you guys!!! that is such great news. Yes inspections really are the end all or be all in the business world. There are very big fines, and tough inspections out here for workplaces in australia. So i can truly understand how relieved you all must be. Congratulations - You should all be very proud of what you are achieving for you company and what you are passing on to us - i definatley appreciate it and am really happy that you take the time to keep us informed in these important steps you are taking. Love from you lil ozzie junkie nut juice fanatic:vapor::banana::banana::pervy:

Nawwww, you'll never truly feel stupid til you're in your 40's, in college, and your instructor tells you and the whole class "c'mon people. this is stuff you learned in 6th grade"!! Really??

LOL! Ditto all that. I would just look at them and say "Do you have any idea just how long ago that was for me?!" And most of the things they think you already know either weren't known, didn't exist yet, or even worse yet, we were taught the opposite.

Somebody dropped a dime in the phone and called OSHA on him. They don't have the resources to just show up for "routine inspections" on small businesses.

I have to disagree for 2 reasons. 1- You can't make even a local for a dime it takes at least a quarter. 2- I bet it has a lot more to do with setting up in a new location with a storefront, expanding with more employees, and opening a lounge.

Please quote your sources of info. They are opening a NEW business and wanted to pass all inspections and have to comply with state and fed regs when they register to the state to open for business.
Where do these people come from? You must have way too much time on your hands to keep this up.

The instructor actually said that? That's terrible! What class - algebra? If so, I got a D when I took in 7th grade.

Wow Parallex, I'm gonna have to side with David regarding that comment...

I've been critical of using an OSHA inspection as a marketing tool, but I would NEVER make the claim that somebody blew them in without having at least SOME proof of that happening. Nobody should fling around comments that implicate somebody in wrong doing without substantial proof.

I have proof of everything I've commented about, and it's only fair to keep things in the realm of facts, and by all means to keep things civil.

It is ENTIRELY possible an OSHA inspection may have been required to get a permit to build-out for his vaping lounge without somebody first reporting the business for an infraction.

Once a business is open, typically, OSHA stays away unless an infraction has been reported... That infraction could be as minor as not having OSHA posters on the wall of a non-public area like a break room or wash room. Anybody that has a job can ask HR where the OSHA posters are and they'll tell you if you haven't seen them for yourself. At my office they are in the Break Room.

It is possible that in some jurisdictions OSHA may require an inspection before a business license can be granted. That being said, I've opened a few brick and mortar businesses in New York State. and that has not been required to open the doors for business. I needed a Fire Marshall inspection and a business license in the city of Rochester. But all states, cities and counties make their own rules in this area.

TexasT has been talking to you!!!! He already tried to lure me down there by mentioning the snakes they have to watch for. Always wanted to go Rattle snake hunting.

However whatever he paid you, you'll have to refund because I'm allergic to manual labor and I'm too afraid of Mrs T and her mother. I'll wait for pics after they finish:evil:

Here in Ohio you must pass OSHA inspections before you can open the doors on any business that sells food/drinks to the public. My ex-mother in law and I opened an ice cream shop in N.Canton years, ago when my kids where little. We had had to be inspected by OSHA before we even opened the windows and this was a "walk up window" deal, not a "sit down" establishment either. After we were up and running, we still had random inspections by the health department, about once a month or so
Other businesses that I frequent in the past few years have OSHA certif hanging on their walls-this includes tanning salons and hair salons as well

Okay. Now I'm confused. Did he send you the cow or the mother-in-law for the steaks and... which are you trying to milk!?

Whatever you do, just wash your hands after!
