THE END IS NEAR ! THE END IS NEAR ! FULL BLOWN PANIC MODE !

An old friend who hasn't been heard from for several years popped up yesterday. It was good to hear from her again, although she is suffering from the same paranoia as the rest of us. I wonder if this is Trump's way of promoting the vaping Industry ? By getting everyone to buy stuff ?
Anyways, two new REOS and two new Galaxies on the way. Some more PG and maybe some more DIY Flavorings as well. Who need a car payment ? Buy vaping stuff ! NOW ! PANIC MODE !

Ya know that Scene in one of the Terminator movies where they drive out into the Dessert and pull that Metal Plate out of the sand to reveal a Huge Cache of Weapons?

I might not Have the Same amount of e-Cigarettes. And it Might not be in the Dessert covered by a Metal Plate. But you get the Idea.

    LOL

Wehlp I bought over 300 dollars in coils yesterday. It hurt,
It should hurt. At your (young) age, it's silly, unless you're planning on keeping them for the day when you're too arthritic to be able to make your own for an rebuildable atty.

I pay about $7 for a roll of Kenthal. I am still working on those...

I still have some wire on my first spool of Kanthal (circa 2011) since I switched to SS316L. In all that time I've used maybe a 100' spool and a half rebuilding various single coil attys. It's definitely cheaper, and better since you get to wind the coil style and resistance that you prefer.

If coil heads were 3 for $100 I'd probably use them.

Three liters would last me ~12 years. I'm 60. I hope to live longer than that.

I figure a liter will hold me 6 years. I just got 3 L delivered which is stashed in my daughter's freezer (she better have put it in by now, I know it was delivered). At 62, with the other 3 L stashed around town I'm good until I'm 98, assuming I don't start vaping more. Now I'm just sniping gear on sales. I'm done. Well, as long as I can find stuff I want at a decent price I'll keep buying, but they'll have to drag that nic out of my cold, dead hands.

Why not ? Add a couple of these ..

I already have one in my cart I set up last week.

Need to only stock up for 12 years. The world is coming to end. Heard that from the expert AOC. 10 years if you live in Miami.

Thank you, thank you - I was panicked, thanks to your reminder, my Theta waves emanate peace and tranquility 'cause everything will be alright.

I have a LOT of setups, and most of them are RTAs. So, no I don't plan on halting use until I am too arthritic tto build. I'm thinking HARD here and I have changed ONE Zenith coil in about probably, 3 months. I'm not giving up my Kabukis, and I have changed a coil in about 2 months.

I go through drop ins very, very slowly. I just don't want to burden my engineer husband with rebuilding my spent coils (which I have a bunch hoarded) quite yet. My fine motor tremor is MUCH improved, it might well behoove me to see if I can rebuild one on my own. It's possible with enough practice, I could.

But, I like I said, there are a couple drop in coil tanks I am not ready to give up, certainly not now, and if I do run out of coils one day and I try to rebuild and can't, well, I can't.

I think it's okay to stock what one wants to stock. I have mechs, I have more RTAs than I can shake a stick at and a couple RDAs if the worst comes to the worst. But, I think it's okay for me to stock some coils, and I fully expect to be using them for a LONG time.

I think part of it is I do my own flavoring, I don't overflavor, and I like a cool vape. But since I have a lot of setups going, I don't tend to change vape and I get ridiculous drop in coil life.

Why would I give that up if I don't have to? Part of vaping for me is the LOVE of vaping. A couple drop in tank systems are a big part of that.

So you're planning to die in your freezer?

My local vape shop was getting rid of ALL their rebuildable supplies 2 weeks ago. Just not enough sales to justify them. I got 20 rolls of wire and 5 pouches of cotton bacon for $2 by agreeing to take the lot off their hands. Ok there are some wire diameters that I am unlikely to ever use (don't really use 32 gauge much anymore) but hey there is enough of the good stuff to make 2 bucks a bargain.
