Good ol' Andrew is probably sick of hearing from his upstate Sloth, but he did again today.

Sent my greetings and best wishes to him around 3 PM. So that's two NYer's heard from. Another few hundred thousand and we might get somewhere with him. Maybe.

One thing about ol' Andy is he loves the Adirondack Park. Thinking about inviting him to my lodge, free of charge - heh, heh... :sneaky:

You know, I learned a lot, really quickly but only because ECF gave me the resources to do so, I was sick as a dog and off work. Learning ALL things ecig kept me occupied, because I kind of knew that it was my Last Chance, so to speak. I BELIEVED the oxygen tank was coming.

I feel for the new vaper because I was a dilettante vaper for YEARS before getting serious, bought what my B&M told me to, and bought my juice from them. It wasn't high on my priority list.

If someone told me I had to learn DIY during that time or whatever, I would have just laughed in their face and gone "No vaping for me."

Honestly, learning about vaping is a process but the new vaper is often not the very motivated vaper and MANY of the things that are motivational to new vapers need to be handed to them on a silver platter, so that they can GET OFF CIGS which EVEN with the oxygen tank looming WAS the hardest thing I EVER did, including giving birth and being TOBACCO and DRUG FREE period (it was sort of a miracle honestly, but I just could not be "that mom" thank God) but I KNEW deep in my heart I would go back to smoking one day.

This quit was the hardest. But, I threw every hat I had in the ring, and ECF picked them up and showed me what to do.

It's easy to say... the new vaper will X, Y, Z.

Remember being new? My first cigarette free day I was a trembling wreck, ready to die, shaking like a leaf and totally GRATIFIED but TERRIFIED because I did not believe it was POSSIBLE and I did not WANT the oxygen tank.

If you had told me to mix I would have kicked you in the shins. YES it is the new vaper we are fighting for! I'm WAY more FUN without an OXYGEN tank, and it's NOT a cool accessory!

I have heard vague rumors that one can buy O-rings and screws from like hardware stores.

Based on my dealings with hardware stores is like, most of the workers are very, very eager to help you. I would imagine the best way (for me) would be to bring my dilapidated atomizer that needs screws or O-rings to the nearest employee and ask them to hook me up. I am entirely confident they will.

I am also entirely confident that I will never run out of O-rings. I mean... I have NOT replaced that many maybe like 6 in my 3 years of vaping?

While I do not know, since I have never run out of O rings, I have also heard vague rumors that "close is enough to count" with many an O ring and for some reason Fasttch seems to think that you get better value on a clone if you get 40 O-rings with your purchase of a clone. I'm not complaining. I've considered using them as hair ties, but sanity prevailed. Simply because an O ring pony tail probably wouldn't look that great.

Anna, you can order any o-ring you want from here:

Right. Same here. Thank you, ECF, thank you, my dear ECF friends, and thank you @Oliver, wherever you are, for having the foresight to found this forum!

I must be lucky. It took all of two days for me to go from cigarettes to vaping. But then again, I was wheezing at night, constantly getting winded through the day, and generally felt miserable.
Those two days I shook so bad it would turn me sideways in my seat. Not good when you are in the diver's seat. But the third day the cravings stopped. And I have been tobacco free ever since.
These politicians who have no idea but speak anyways (pretty much all of them) could try focusing on teen opiate abuse. Or human trafficking. Or jus about anything other than a handful of youths abusing vaping technologies to overdose on illegal substances. But then again, they are politicians.

If I had to DIY from day 1 of quitting smoking and starting vaping, I'd probably been overwhelmed. It was awesome that I could choose interesting flavors to me at the vape shop, instead of only having tobacco flavors. It's part of what attracted me to switching to vaping.

There were no Vape Shops within 30 miles of me when I started. I learned about vaping from a friend, who directed me to the ECF for information and advice.
The nearest to me at the time was 2 hours away, but I was committed. Online shopping saved me for stocking up on juice. Still drove those 2 hours to get a device, because I had no idea what was what. Somehow, after my first device broke, I had learned about Provaris, and search engines revealed the majestic ECF.

I had to drive an hour for my first mod. I was skeptical, but wanted to try it enough to go the distance. Bought one, couple juices, had my mind blown, discovered ECF the very next day. Haven't made any vape shop purchases since, personally (except a mod for a friend once). I was REO-bound. (Thank you ECF)
