The nearest to me at the time was 2 hours away, but I was committed. Online shopping saved me for stocking up on juice. Still drove those 2 hours to get a device, because I had no idea what was what. Somehow, after my first device broke, I had learned about Provaris, and search engines revealed the majestic ECF.

When I started there was no vape shop in 200 miles that I could find. Some online friends pointed me to My Freedom Smokes and told me to pick up and EGO-C kit and also pointed me to ECF at the same time. The rest as they say is history.

No panic for me. I'm just going to stop vaping. It's time to quit as I quit smoking 7 years ago. I couldn't care less about smokers not having this option available. I actually quit cold turkey and took up vaping later. I feel bad for are all of the business owners. This is going to hurt people individually, and the economy. So basically all of us. Homeless citizens in California are now being rounded up and held in government facilities, so I sincerely hope business owners have built themselves a safety net. It feels ominous. And yeah, I said what I said. I'm a kind person. ‍♀️

This is an interesting perspective.

Anna, you can order any o-ring you want from here:
Orings and More | Affordable and Quality Gaskets and Seals

The problem I've found with o-rings is measuring them. Easy with screws. But I never found a way to measure the ring diameter because they are soft and bendy. The thickness isn't so difficult if you have good calipers.

I saw some cone shaped measuring devices on-line. You drop the ring on the cone and see how far it goes down. Good in theory but the ones I saw seemed to be designed for larger sizes.

Luckily for a lot of common tanks people have already done the work and you can find sizes somewhere on ECF. Like the KFL clones.

The one I never did find is tank seals rings for the Lemo. They are flat washer type rings. Even though people have measured them nobody ever found the exact size on sale.

I recently lost a ring for my Lemo 2. I looked everywhere. Thankfully Eleaf put an extra in the box but it meant I was down one. Then a month went by and there it was on my carpet. Lazy me hadn't vaccumed or it would be gone. Why they dont sell replacements is beyond me.

Yeah that lemo ring is the fail point for sure. I’m vaping on one now but I dislike that ring.

At one time you could buy packs of those rings. By the time I decided to get some they weren't around any more. When they stopped making the Lemo they were selling them on clearance for $5 so I picked up a bunch. For $5 you got the tank, plus a spare glass piece and spares of all the rings.

I've only had to replace one ring in 5 years. That was because it stuck to the end of the glass when I took the tank apart to clean it. I was impatient and tried to pull it off with brute force and tore it up. I did drop one down the garbage disposal. Got it out in the end with tweezers but being transparent it was really hard to see. Took a long time.

On the giant Lemo thread someone found a regular round profile o-ring that apparently did the job. Think I've got that post saved somewhere, let me know, if you want I'll try to find it.

Back when I joined ECF, it was almost entirely to combat the panic mode that was prevalent at the time. It wasn't too long after that I made a wager with a ECF member (used to be a prominent regular) about how much longer we'd be able to get product on the open market. I'm fairly certain the wager was for no later than 2015, as that was determined to be the time, we'd no longer have product available (namely eliquids with multiple flavor options).

At various times since then, I've countered all panic situations on the forum. It helps my ego knowing I was on the right side in those times, as in vaping has gone on without a hitch all the way up to now.

I currently think it is time to panic. At the same time, there's still plenty of reasons to be hopeful, and very good reason to believe a market will persist for adults who want to put eliquid in their devices, and have a multitude of flavor options. Quite likely teens will be in that market as well. Indefinitely. But the fact that DIY currently exists and stockpiling surely exists, means a market will persist, and some are about to get very rich if government tries to prohibit vaping to any degree on the open market.

With that said, ANTZ is pouncing hard enough right now, to bring the open legal market to a screeching halt. They'll fail, for sure over the long term. But they'll succeed enough to not just panic some vapers, but a whole lot of non-vapers who will be convinced that vaping nicotine is deadly harmful. You could die tonight!

Feel free to counter my current take on the situation. I probably wouldn't put up much resistance. But I do think by mid 2020, or for sure by mid 2021, the open legal market will be greatly curtailed (i.e. 95% of what's available now, won't be). Yet because of how much I believe the black market will be popular, I'm not worried.

Hey thanks for kind offer. But I just looked at my two lemo boxes and each box has two spares so I think I’m good.

I am not ready for any kind of ban. I am thinking of ordering 3 L of nic base. I dont have any kind of mods that take batteries so I need a few of those. Im not so concerned about flavors since I can vape unflavored if necessary. As far as rta's all I have are Kayfun's and Lemo 2's. I am thinking about ordering a 2k18 doggy style from FT to see how I like it. I am tired of the leaking.

OK. This is what I found so far. There was a lot of discussion. Thought I had more but I might not have saved it. If you do a search on some words from the stuff below you might be able to go to the right place in the big thread. I remember someone had tried some round profile o-rings and they worked and didn't leak. They were thicker than the original flat rings but soft enough to compress down.

######

I spent a lot of time on the Lemo V1 o-ring issue. First off, I found that they are not O-rings, they are "square O-rings". All this IAW theoringstore.com and an inch to mm converter.

O-ring Size inches: 3/4"ID X 7/8"OD X 1/16"CS
O-ring Size mm: 19.05mm X 22.225mm x 1.5875mm

018 Buna-N Square O-rings - Tetraseals [SN70018] : The O-Ring Store LLC, We make getting O-Rings easy!

Does this look correct?

Yup, those are too small for the 23mm Lemo V1's and Drops, but, I just found these that Might fit the Lemo V1/Drop $1.24 Water-tight O-Ring Seals (20-Pack) 20-pack - 20mm * 1.5mm * 23mm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

They seem to have the correct dimensions but are round, not flat, but might still work just the same.

Most of mine are Lemo 1 and KFL's. Plus a few STM. I think the Lemo 1 was 23mm and the Lemo 2 was 22mm. Might be wrong though.

If you are looking for replaceable battery mods two that are recommended a lot are the Aegis Solo and the Asmodus Colossal. I've got both. They can be picked up for less than $30 if you watch out for sales. Now would be better than later though.

have you tried measuring the groove the Oring sits in?? ;)
