Hi Guys,

I placed an order for a Vapor King through Electronic Cigarettes Inc., but I've been reading about potential Canada Customs issues. 8-o Does anyone know if they're still going on?

For my SECOND question, (I know, I know, but I warned you I was panicky!), I bought my first e-cig (Smoking Everywhere Gold...I know, but it was the first one I'd ever seen!!), from a mall vendor when I was on holiday in Las Vegas last week. BUT, I was lucky if I got more than 20-30 puffs from each of the filters!

From what I've read, that doesn't seem normal and I DID contact Smoking Everywhere about it, but (SURPRISE SURPRISE!!) I haven't heard a word . I even gave THEM the 'excuse' by asking if it was possible they were dried out because the vendor was outside in the dry air....but nada.

I've ordered some liquid from Vapables, because they're a Canadian company so I THINK I have that angle covered and I saved all my filters, so should I be able to use the Smoking Everywhere if I drip?

My MAIN question is....what do you guys think my chances are on receiving my Vapor King from Electronic Cigarettes? I ordered the Vapor King WITH 3 bottles of liquid so..??

HELP!!!

Might want to ask on the Canadian subforum...

Those things have some pretty small cartridges, so you aren't going to get as many drags as you would with some of the larger models. It's very hard to compare one persons puff with another persons, so I suggest you pull the filler out and see how much juice is still left in the filler material. That will tell you if you've actually used it up, or if you are just having wicking issues.

You can read more about wicking issues in the thread linked in my signature below.

Absolutely, and since the Smoking Everywhere is probably a RN4081 model, I can tell you that it is actually a very good little dripping machine. Although you can also refill the cartridges yourself rather than dripping if you choose to do so.

Alright gang, my Vapor King showed up today! So, anyone else out there that had the same reservations I did, maybe we can relax a BIT! The only thing I DID have to do was pay $28.00 from Customs, but they didn't even open it, (which REALLY surprised me).

Hate to say it, but you got hosed.

What you did was order a stock 510 e-cig which you could have bought from a Canadian company (Happy Vaper), had it in a few days, and paid NO duty or surcharges.

Unfortunately, this company is selling a product that misleads some people who are trying to purchase a VaporKing from Vapor4Life, a completely different E-CIG model.

AHHHHH!

I DID order a 510 from Happy Vapers and received HIS on Tuesday, (which looks great and works great, not to mention being able to deal with Jack, an all around great guy!), but I had ordered this thing FEBRUARY 24TH. (I know, and it JUST got here...)

So, did I receive a Vapor King or was I duped?

Welcome fellow Canadian. I've only been at this for about 2 months now. So far I've had three packages from China make it. A few liquid orders from the States and a few from Canadian suppliers. No problems getting them here yet. I've heard a few times things will get bounced back to the sender but usually they are good at resending it. The second time it will make it. It just depends on how busy customs is that day and if they care about what might be in the package.

Also I've never paid any duty on any thing from the US or China. Do yourself a favor and at a look at the approved suppliers list. If they are on that list then chances are you won't get screwed over.

Bloody $%#%^!

Well, I guess I just bought myself a 'back up 510'. Thought they looked awfully similar. Anyhoo, just ordered a VAPORKING from V4L!

Knowing MY luck, the REAL one WILL get held up by Customs!

Oh well...live and learn I suppose...the only positive thing about my 'vapor king' is that I REALLY like the taste of the eliquid with their carts. AND I received a car/usb charger with it.

AND, I'M STILL NOT SMOKING ANALOGS!!!

Domino...I live in Toronto as well, and have orders NUMEROUS parcels from them. Not one has been held up by customs. One took an extra 4 days during the olympics for some wierd reason, but if I order my package on the weekend, it's at my doorstep on Friday. No fuss.

Also, any issues with your V4L product, come see us on the subforum or send me a PM, glad to help in any way I can.

Vaporking from Vapor4Life = KR808D-1
Vaporking from Electronic Cigarettes Inc = Joye 510(not sure if its a copy or genuine)

It is always best to order things from your own country. It is always best to do research before buying something. If you have any questions about Electronic Cigarettes you can come here and get an answer fairly quickly before making a purchase. Sometimes you don't even have to ask a question and can just do a search. For instance yesterday I order a bunch of e-liquid from viking vapor but before i ordered i did a search on these forums for viking and found answers to all of my questions. Just a tip of advice.

Need 15 posts to enjoy all that there is here....lol.

But great, awesome to see another local here too.

Never had an issue...however, when they give you your tracking number, do NOT go by USPS. Enter your tracking info onto CANADAPOST.CA. Not sure why it works better, but it does.

Packages usually held in customs for about 20 minutes, then let go. 7-8 days from ordering is about average. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do. There is a learning curve, and takes some time to find your perfect battery/flavor/strength, however it IS worth it.

Took me FOREVER To get off these damn analogs, and the cartomizer was what did it for me, so I apologize if I am overly enthusiastic.

:)

I ordered a vapor king from e-cig inc thinking it was the one from V4L as well. I will say i prefer the attys from the VK from e-cig inc than the one from other companies i have tried. they have a stronger draw and are not airy. I am please with my kit and would order it again. Yes i know its a 510 and im happy with that as well. gl on your vaping :)

sweet. so over all you've been happy with the carto's?

I was hesitant to be screwing arround with cartridges and replacing attys. Who knows I may end up getting a 510 or 401, but looking forward to the vaporking :)

You do get filled carts or do you buy blanks? How long does your carts last for? I hope to treat this still as a "smoke" and take my breaks during the day to enjoy the spring weather we're getting

Which is more economical? carts vs cartrides/atty ?

I don't worry too much about whats economical anymore. I buy prefilled blanks with my flavor of choice (555) and juice to refill those. At worst, I spent 13 dollars a day on cigarettes. At worst, I spend 2 on vaping. Not too shabby.

:)

I go through about 2-3 carts a day, depending on how much I vape. That being said, I do NOT wait until they are empty to refill. I don't like to have carts that get burnt up, so I top off early and often.

I think at the end of the day, the 510s are probably more "Cost efficient", however for ease of use and service, I won't trade in my cartos for anything.

At the end of the day, we are talking pennies, however we are talking years on your life.

Hope it works out for you, and by all means, drop us a line in the V4L subforums, or PM me anytime.

You guys are awesome!

Alright, still haven't received my Vapor King from V4L, but I just 'sold' the e-cig idea to my next door neighbour and he's just ordered his new kit!!

'tag...you're it!!'

Kath

P.S. Also ordered some e-liquid from wordupecig.com, thanks to all the great reviews I found on this forum. Keep up the good work..one 'ex-smoker to new-vaper' at a time!
