Getting panicky...

Hi all,

I ordered the Dual Atomizer Mini Starter Kit on the 4th from e-smokeytreats. I see all the advice to go for multi-atomizers and thought that to be a pretty good deal. Perhaps I should have been a tad more worried about Phil going on vacation the next day? USPS tracking says the order number was submitted but nothing more. Mind you, I don't trust the usps. lol But I sincerely believed that, being in Nevada, I would have received it by now. I placed an order with Johnson Creek on the 5th (only then discovering a discount code for e-smokey, grrrrr) and it arrived yesterday.
I know now I should have spread my cards a bit further and ordered the mini from puresmoker like I had originally intended to do. Having already burned and tossed away quite a chunk of cash I was lured by the best deal.
I've GOT to get OFF the burning smoke!
Questions: Who can ship something Fedex 1 or 2 day?
Where can I find small dark empty bottles, measuring droppers and/or syringes?
Can PG be mixed with VG (about equal parts)?
Where the flip do you find discount codes AHEAD of time?
Think JC could be convinced to offer an ultra-light 5 or 6 mg option?

I have plently of VG and am certain I am going to need to dilute the carts.
Goal: Bring the 11mg carts down to 5.5 or some such.
Yes, I am scared silly of a nicotine overdose.

I know some of these are questions best answerable in other areas of the forum but I'm stuck on newbie status. I just really want to get on with this experiment, I have very high hopes for it. But it's really starting to stress me out.

Hello,
I can help with a few of those, I believe.
1) most of the companys will ship UPS or what ever for a charge of course.

2) There are 2 codes over at E-CigReview.com, Watch some of his reviews for the fun of it too, hes pretty good.

3) You can mix VG and PG, but you may not want to. IF you want PILES of smoke, you can cut with those, BUT, i would suggest cutting with triple distilled water (or as pure as you can find, drug stores carry pure in the pharmacy) The VG and PG make 99% of the smoke/Vapor, and you will make it alot thicker by cutting with just those. They are water soluable, so water is fine to cut with, but may cut down on the smoke produced.
They Do , make Low and even 0, cartridges as well as liquid, you have to check, the amount or mg's very by company. I think (dont quote me) that the new puresmoker juice is lower Nic.
You have to think of the Atomizers, the thicker solution may clog them faster, but thats a guess, I never tryed it.

4) Unless you are REAL sensitive to Nicotine, I wouldnt worry to much about ODing. First, most have a cutoff sensor, to keep you from hovering a whole cart at once, hehe. Also, you will feel High/dizzy or something before you get bad. Maybe if you Drank the juice, that would do it for you, But I wouldnt suggest doing that, hehe

I noticed today, after useing mine for a while, the real thing tasted a lot more Harsh. The E-Cigs take some getting used to, but i can see giving up the burning of leafs totally one day.

Apache, over 10 days!? That was certainly well before Phil left on vacation. I have also emailed Tom. Time will tell, I suppose.

It's a funny thing, small business often start up with sterling service, but then they have a harder time keep up with their growing popularity.

Magus, perhaps I am looking at different vendors because I haven't seen anyone offering UPS. But then, I'm limiting myself to stateside companies who admit to how many mgs of nicotine they have in their cartridges. High, Med, Low and None just don't cut it for me. It also helps me to order if I can find shipping prices, options and ETA's BEFORE I get to the bloody checkout.
I appreciate the tip about adding water. I had an idea that it would get a bit too thick. Frankly, I wouldn't mind seeing a solution that produced a bare minimum of fog. Maybe I'll come up with one.
And yes, I AM really sensitive to nicotine. The whole reason I am here is that I tried to quit smoking with 4mg nicotine lozenges and ended up in the Emergency room with a bad episode of PVC arrythmias.
I was very upset that I didn't get nausea and dizziness warning signs first. But they soon followed. :-/

But I still want to know who can ship super-fast. Too many sites won't say anything at all. Nor will they list the mg of nic in their carts. I will not do business with them.

At first I was going to ignore these guys (no nic or shipping info upfront) buuuut they do have a toll free number on the site. I called up and lo, behold. They have overnight shipping available AND the Low cartridges contain 6mg nic, the Med has 11mg and, I'm sorry, I didn't ask about the High. Sweet girl was very patient with me and she even checked estimated shipping time to my zip code. Pretty cool. I'm so strongly considering putting an order in.

The people I have met/talked to so far are all willing to help where they can, You can email or call any of the sellers you see in here. They will tell you anything you need to know, shipping, Nic levels, types, even where and how its made in some cases, and just plane anything. I am sure they wont mind.

One thing, if you are THAT sensitive, I would gather some information and ask your doctor before going to far, maybe even useing it for the first time with him/her. Not sure how the Juice vaporized and inhaled will effect You. By the sound of it, it could help you, but i am sure not a doctor. I would say caution in your case.

For minimal vapor try Ruyan or Freesmoke. Ruyan produces little or no visible vapor when you inhale and exhale, but you can still get thick clouds if you puff it cigar style. Freesmoke produces more exhaled vapor than Ruyan but less than most other brands.

Tip: leave a little pause between drags. I find that I drag harder on the e-cig than on a smoke and if I puff away too quickly I get much more nicotine than I would from a conventional ciggy. It certainly makes sense to start with a low/med juice. I guess with a lower nic concentration you'd just puff away for longer and can spot any sign of trouble well in time.

In my experience, lozenges release their nicotine too quickly. Even the 2mg microtabs were making me queasy at times.

Consistency can talk a while. I normally think its a learning curve of about 3-4 days. Good luck and don't hesitate to ask questions
