First post here, thought I would share. After trying different things with fillers & the straw mod I decided to roll up a strip of paper towel for a filler. If you roll it just the right density it works FANTASTIC, especially when combined with the straw method to facilitate air movement for wicking. Haven't had any burning, it just works great.

That's all!

Oh yeah, using a 510 manual.

...personally, I'd be leery of using a paper towel...acids are used to process pulp into paper and they(acid residue) can leach out into your juice which, is why coffee takes on an off taste when a paper towel is used for a filter...I would hate to think what kind of chemical concoction you might be brewing up when you introduce an acid into the mix while atomizing/distilling the ingredients in vape juice...it skeeeers me to think of it...as always, the choice is yours and YMMV from mine..........

Interesting. Did you try the precut 510 blue foam stuffing from strictlyejuice.com? Under $1 for 10 pieces. Just search there for foam. It would be interesting to hear your comparison. BTW which brand of paper towels?

Blue foam is the most popular stuffing. It is can easily be rinsed clean and patted dry with... a paper towel. It holds its shape. It's easy to remove for a full fill (I recommend remove, fill the juice cup 1/2 way with liquid, insert tapered end of the foam and press it down into the juice using an unbent paperclip etc, reposition even with top edge of juice cup, and top off until it looks damp.

Good choice with the manuals. I also highly recommend the Boge 3 ohm cartomizers (the 2 ohm hotter ones are just for the big battery models like Ego and Riva 510 and mods). Most people use cartomizers for their favorite thinner juices and Boge are most popular. I use thin clear juices with them (PG w/ 20% or less VG, avoiding juices that drop a lot of flavoring sediment in the carto stuffing). I can get 10+ days use out of a Boge. You need to kep them damp though or you can singe the stuffing and that adds a bitter taste.
