Paperclip coil wrap

Well, here's a simple way to wrap tight coils. Take a paper clip and unfold one end so it's at a 90 degree angle. Twist the end of your wire around the loop so it stays on the loop. Then wrap the wire once around the piece of the paper clip sticking out. Pinch the wire between your fingers and start spinning the other end of the paper clip:



Eventually you'll end up with a tightly wrapped coil like this:



If you want a bigger diameter coil, simply wrap some tape around the paperclip where the looped coil is. You can make a nice micro coil or a huge macro coil. After it's wrapped, take it off, place on your atomizer, dry burn, pinch tight, dry burn, pinch tight, dry burn, wick, vape.


This may not help some of you, but for those of you that just can't wrap a tight coil, this should help a lot.

Good suggestion. I know people that use toothpicks, 5/64 drill bits, craft machines, needle tip on juice bottle.... etc. I say go with what ever works for you. Good luck to you and happy coiling.

The locking onto the paperclip and spinning is what makes this method so much easier. You could spin an inch long coil in a matter of seconds. Then all you need to do is clip out how many coils you need and leave a couple extra, 2-3 that you unroll to stick in the posts.

Or you can cut both ends of a qtip and insert it on the paper clip when making micro coils.

I cut one end off a qtip and stuffed 4pieces of wire in there about 5inch pieces and then keep that in my carrying case. If my coils junk out when im out for the day can just wrap them on the qtip lol plus keeps my wire safe
