It's been kinda soaky here today too. Not really complaining, it's not as wet as we were last year at this time!
I haven't ordered my Theorem yet, mainly 'cause I wanna use the Notch coils everyone's raving about but don't have a TC mod yet. I know I can build a kanthal coil for it too, but the Notch looks too promising not to have the right equipment to utilize it.

The notch coils work in just wattage mode also but your mod needs to be able to go down to 0.2Ω resistance ( the notches are about 0.23Ω but a little leeway is always a good thing )

Thanks RDS. My iStick 100 can go down to like .15, but I've never tried an SS coil on it. I know they can be run in wattage mode, but wasn't sure my mod would read/fire them.
The user and forum stats box used to drop to the bottom of the page IF you'd narrow the screen down enough.... that way the user post area would take up the full width...

The TC mods only need to know what type of wire/coil that is used so they can check the temp... in short they have to know the characteristics of the wire... that info isn't needed to just use wattage or voltage modes

IMO... it was idiotic when they started doing it that way to begin with... It'd be different if it wasn't just almost useless stats info.... that could be placed in the user account info area and doesn't need to be on each thread page.... I wasn't too upset when there was an easy work-around... but now I'd need to add an extension to chrome that can alter the page on the fly so it removes it...
Any good web designer knows that pages should not have than much unused whitespace... obviously ECF doesn't have a good one with any common sense
Ok... I got it back sort of like it was by increasing the zoom level... still it's a stupid design that needs altered IMO

Just checked the SPC forecast and I see they've made significant changes since this mornings forecast... it includes a 2% tornado possibility as well as hail and high wind threats.... so it's certainly significant to say the least.
I'll try to watch a little for tornado threats on radar where and when I can... I'm actually still working so it may be wise to keep an ear on Mr Jaberwawki and maybe even keep the news running if they are doing constant coverage... actually if I'm even on top of it all of the time... the others would still be better sources since they'll have a better grasp of everything and I only have a radar screen.
BTW ... I don't see any severe or tornado warnings issued right now... Moonie's area is showing more activity but there is a long line of storms that affect both of you
