Couldn't sleep anymore due to extenuating circumstances ( which has almost gone away now )...

So I got up and started looking for a mech mod I'd been interested in a while back, had even ordered once but they renigged on the order... and then it seemed everyone was suddenly out of them or the clone they carried was of... lets say dubious quality...

So this is the Stingray X clone by SKX. I got it in the states for a few bucks ( about $4 or so ) more than I could have from China/Hong Kong... so it should get here sooner... or so I hope ...

The tube is a 3pc... it supports 18350, 18490 and 18650 batteries.

I has a magnetic switch.

The atty connection is a hybrid... the atty's 510 sticks through the top connection and the pin is in direct contact with the battery eliminating a set of connections so there is less loss from them. There is an inherent flaw ( if you will ) with this type of connection, the positive 510 pin on the atty must extend from the connector or you risk a direct short... you must also not over tighten it ( pushing the pin in ) or the same thing happens. You adjust the throw of the switch so different 510 pins and batteries fit properly.

RD did you look here for that ?
Vapecrawler

As a matter of fact ... that is how I found the one I did in the states... :)

The place we ordered the clone Theorem's from also has them ( and I almost ordered there ) for the few bucks cheaper I mentioned... and FT does also but who knows which manufacturer makes them sometimes with them... I knew the SKX and Infinity ( which may be the same company but I'm not positive ) brands have had good reviews which factored into my choice...

FYI.... the Pipesmith E-Pipes have the following protection so you don't exceed it's specs with your atty's... max of 6a with the lowest supported load of 0.8Ω. At 4.2v ( full battery charge ) this means the max watts you can use is 22.5w ( slightly less if using a little higher ohm atty )
