Just barely got back from my folks... and things went south while I was there...
I'd only gone up to change out my Dad's CMOS battery on his computer since it wasn't keeping time any longer. Right after changing it out... they had a power blink which shut everything down. It came right back, so turned the computer back on and the network adapter wasn't working... tried various things including a new cable... nothing. So we went to Best
buy to get a WiFi adapter for it... and after getting back, it wouldn't install the drivers.
Since this was just a battery change out errand... I didn't bring anything else with me to test things with. So I brought the Wifi adapter home to test... it's just fine. This means something is screwy with his Windows installation...
I guess I'll figure that out later ( since I didn't bring his computer home thinking it was just a bad file on the install disk )... But for now... I've got about an hour and a half to see if I can get the lawn finished before sunset...
BBL .... ( if I live through it of course

)
