• Ambivalence abounds everywhere. I too like the cart, but if I filled a cart in the grocery store and walked out it would be gone the next day!
• Another idea is to transfer all the items from the cart to the wishlist after the browser session or even after a time-out; then with a click you can simply add them back to the cart from the wishlist, at which time the inventory would/could be verified again. Seems nothing is foolproof but this issue can be greatly minimized.
• Lastly, maintaining a larger inventory would also help a great deal. But alas! Having a huge inventory is a liability to companies. And there is shelf-life to consider, storage area, and so on...

Well....I guess this post got derailed and although jaybo feels entitled to answers which he received, apparently he doesn't feel obliged to provide answers. I have no bones to grind with him, I'm just asking a few straight forward questions from a person that states they are a Representative of 4 major e-cigarette companies.

I know Bloog has some sort 20% deal for referring customers or something to that effect...does that mean the recipient of that 20% is an official company Rep. I admit I don't know about Blue or Green Smoke or how one becomes an official Rep. of those companies. How does a person become an official Rep. of V4L? I'm aware of their Affiliates Program, but I've never heard of becoming a Rep. without being an employee....perhaps being a reseller...would that be it?

Or is being a Rep. some self-appointed title for simply being a user or a person that unprofessionally refers other people?

I went looking on Facebook for the "official" V4L page when I first started in February and found jaybo posting as V4L. The recent family sale codes were posted using his affiliate link. My question is does jaybo actually work for V4L or are you just an affiliate? The people on Facebook sure seem to think you work for V4L...

Perhaps I'm just overly curious Katalyst, I could understand if Jaybo was caught off-guard as a reseller of some sort and had a customer get upset over a partial order and gift certificate/store credit if he didn't know such a policy existed. I'm just curious as to which policy he would feel best suits his clients...that's all.

Oh...o.k. got it Jaybo, thanks and cheers back to you.

So on to my original questions can you address those.....?

I'm glad to see the OP decided to edit his OP, to be less accusatory and inflammatory.

I'm curious to know where you see that the OP edited his OP. Doesn't it usually indicate that a post has been edited with a little message on the bottom of the post. I don't see that on the OP....is it possible to edit without that message showing up? Please help me understand what you were referring to.

Enough already!!!! It's done....It's over.........

Oh good, I'm glad you're here. I'm not revisiting the issue, I'm just curious about the editing comment. You seemed to agree that the original message had been edited. Maybe you can help me see how you can tell it was edited. I'm really curious.

It's okay Joyce....

I have no idea how...and maybe it is an issue with letter format, but when the op was initially posted it took up much more room and was longer. I have never tried to edit my own thread, so I don't know about it showing edit info, but I do know that I have on several occasions gone back and edited a post and it did not show any edit info aside from where I put "EDIT:"

It was longer initially and was not as "democratic" (for lack of a better term) sounding. With the result of this whole ordeal, I will start using the "Reply With Quote" much more often....

I don't think the op meant any harm in starting this thread, but when it was started, it came across very accusatory as if something crooked was going on......and it was definitely longer that 2 sentences.

Test post for purpose of finding out if somebody can edit without showing "edited".

Edit #1: This is the 1st edit.

Edit #2: This is the 2nd edit.

Edit #3: This is the 3rd edit, and I'm putting a "Reason for Editing:"

Edit #4: This is the 4th edit, and I'm removing a "Reason for Editing:"

Edit #5: It looks like it only gives the small text showing "Last edited by <insertnamehere>; Today at <inserttimehere>." whenever I put something into the "Reason for Editing:" section.

Got it, thanks for your nice response. I've never tried to edit a thread either, only individual posts, so yeah, I don't know how that works. It's all good!

Quoting to confirm for 2nd edit.

Edit #2: I've logged out and back in to see if it shows an edit on this post.

Edit #3: It does show an edit time now that I've logged off and logged back on.

Conclusion: It is possible to edit your original post without it giving any indication that any editing has been done.

No problem Slim:)

I now have myself curious though...just trying to come up with a start post that isn't gonna go and run the chat thread away:)
