Hi, i know there is probably a thread for this alread but after lookin through 80 pgs and finding nothing i decided to post.

as you know blucigs has a long wait on shipping. and since i live in hawaii its even a longer wait for me. i would really like to find other parts to use with blus cuz anywhere will ship faster than blucig.

so i was wondering if there were and cartridges and atomizers that fit the blus? and if there is do i need to use a certain atomizer w/ a certain cart or vise/versa?

thanks alot!;)

I've had some luck with m401 carts working. They are a little long, but I just leave about 1-2mm gap between atty and the bottom of the cart. Mostly I've been dripping though...

Which brings me to the atty. The m401 and Blu are opposite threaded, so I can't use my m401 atty on the blu (or vice-versa). My Blu atty died over the weekend, and I have it soaking in Coke right now to try to revive. (I'm peeved about that since my extra-atty order is "back ordered" at Blu, and I've had my Blu for less then 3 weeks. We'll see if I can restore the atty or not. In the meantime, since I have no spare, I'm using my m401...

Now that I think about it, some will probably say that maybe using the m401 carts with the blu is why my atty died prematurely... Sorry, but the physics don't support that IMHO. While I've used the carts, there has been no flooding or dry atty. Anyway, I guess YMMV.

GOOD QUESTION! I too have a blu on the way and am curious if there are other parts I can swap with the blu (batteries, attys, carts). I'll be looking forward to the answer.

thanks guys and gals

Good question. I am awaiting my Blu as well. Because of this site I avoided the Smoke anywhere/everywhere deal. I also ordered an extra atty when I ordered my startup blu, but snce it's been a wait (ordered 5/25), I decided I better put in a seperate order for extra batts and attys (2+2). If anyone knows of an alternative suppy that would fit the Blu, I too would appreciate.

Hard watching all you vapors vape and know that I leave this forum to step outside to analog. Got tons of juice on the way too. AHHHH!

No, and that's part of the problem. If we could get representation from them here, we could refer all these questions to the supplier. SJ is checking into that now. This certainly isn't your average supplier joins, starts threads or his own forum, then members centralize their questions to the supplier. That's why they're spread all over the place.

How is that? There are probably a thousand threads on 901's, SD's, and the others. Are those spam? Just because something has generated a lot of interest and people want info it is spam? Please. :grr:

BTW SambucaLu, you haven't replied to my PM. Did you get it? Also, if you check the e-mail below it has the name of the guy who is supposedly the president. I would assume he would be the guy to contact about getting them involved in the suppliers forum.

Anyways, for those thinking about ordering the Blu, the wait could be a while. This is the e-mail I received from them yesterday concerning my order.

Dear blu customer,

I wanted to touch base with you personally to thank you for choosing blu and to let you know that we appreciate your business very much. I also wanted to keep you up-to-date on what is happening at blu as we have had major demands onstock levels that have unfortunately affected our shipping and delivery times. This, combined with the demands on our customer service team, has caught us off-guard. The good news is we are making great improvements over the coming weeks, thanks to your input and suggestions.

Over the past three weeks, we have been overwhelmed by the success of blu and we could have never foreseen the magnitude of the response. We are currently working franticly to get stock levels in the positive and get all our orders out as quickly as possible. Though plans have been put in place that will see us shipping orders on the same day they are received, we are still a little behind currently and ask for your patience. Orders received currently should be received within 2 weeks of ordering. While you may be frustrated with the time delay we are currently experiencing, I can tell you that we are doing our best to clear backorders and get to the level of service that you expect of us.

On a positive note, our design and development team are working to implement many changes and enhancements to the site as well as the ordering process you have suggested. We plan to roll out these changes and many more in the coming months.

Once again, I really do want to thank you and hope you can lend us your patience as we work through these issues.

nobody? I know there are a lot of users of this forum with blu cigs. Please tell me there is another site to get parts for the blu other than blucigs.

I don't wanna wait a month for an atomizer every time I need to order one.

thanks guys

You are quite mistaken. There are very few suckers on this forum with Blucigs. My sincere advice to anyone that was suckered in is to find a better device as quickly as possible to avoid embarassment.

Thanks for contributing so much to the discussion. [/sarcasm]

So, it is OK now to talk smack about a product that you have no experience with? It is also cool to be disrespectful to those of us who have orderd Blu's? Well, that is good to know.

Even the worst e-cig is still better than an analog.

Nobody should feel "embarrassment" for buying a particular model of e-cig.

Thanks DW and Spitfire.

I'm just getting really tired of being considered a spammer, told I'm a freakin' idiot, and all the BS accusations being thrown around with no proof of anything. Everybody needs to let the admins/mods do their investigation and then we will know what and who was causing problems. Hopefully, they will make it very public to stop this crap once and for all.

SS109:

If you noticed, on the old locked thread in the new members forum, there were many glowing reports on blu cigs from people who had very low posts counts. That is a common spammers technique. Some people get paid to post glowing reviews of products in forums like this....they usually don't post anywhere else or stay around as productive members of the forums for very long.

So excuse us if we're a bit leary of all the "Hallelujah! Blu Cig is the Messiah of E-cigs!" cheerleading.

Regards,
GEP
