Well, I got my first e-cig about 11 days ago and have been happily vaping since. I was a light smoker at only about 1/2 a pack a day, never really felt like quitting, but the price hikes and everything made it an easy choice to switch. I'm off analogs and haven't looked back or even wanted one since I started vaping.

Anyway, my dad has been a smoker for probably 35 years. He was a 2 pack a day smoker for a long time and tried to quit many many times. He recently drastically cut down with Chantix. Now he just smokes 1-2 Black and Milds per day and that's just because of the mental addiction/hand-mouth thing.

I brought my new e-cig over last weekend to show it off, and immediately he told my mom to order one for him. My brother wants one too, and he's not even a smoker, lol. I also have a bunch of friends who love the thing and want one as well.

From my experience so far, everyone who has seen the e-cig in action want it. I think that once this whole business with the FDA is over with and it's not so underground, vaping is going to be huge. Be afraid Big Tobacco.

So glad for you and your family. I also have been analog free for 11 days. Its very exciting isn't it, having this be so ridiculously easy to switch to. My sister just got her 510 kit yesterday. She has smoked for 18 years. She had one cigarette the first day, and two today. I ordered her some double strength juice because she says the throat hit is fine, but she needs more mint taste. I'm sure once she gets it, she won't have any real cigs. Even if she smoked 10 cigs a day, I would be impressed because she has never tried to quit, never wanted to. She really enjoys smoking and has not had any adverse effects yet (or than the hit to the wallet) to *motivate* her to quit. My mom will be getting one soon as well. I'm so happy and excited to have discovered this and be able to give this "miracle" (yeah, dramatic, but that's how I feel about it) to other people.

My mom's boyfriend is very impressed by my success with the PV and had me give him all the information I could to give to his son, who has been smoking for decades and very badly wants to quit. I feel that anybody who gives the PV an earnest try will have success with this.

It feels really good to help other people who want and need it, doesn't it?

I wouldn't let my one sister R or my brother use my PV because they both quit cold turkey a couple of years ago and I wouldn't want to poke a sleeping bear.

BTW: Oh, and every smoker I've let have a drag off my 510 has nodded and said, "This could work for me". It was the same feeling I got when I got a PV. Yep, this could really work. And it did. Pretty soon, I'll be a nonsmoking person longer than I've ever gone (longest I've gone is 14 days).
