Black manual-switch USB passthrough for Joye510.

Package Includes:
1 * Black manual-switch USB passthrough(No LED) for Joye510.
1 * 320 mAh rechargeable lithium battery.

This is confusing for me. My questions are:

A passthrough with a battery?

If the battery is out, will it not work?

I thought the point of a passthrough was to get away from charging batteries all the time. I am obviously missing something. Can someone explain this to me. Thank you.USB passthrough for Joye510 | AtmosUSA Ecigs Here is what brought up my question and thanks again people. :smokie:

In Flames, can I suggest an eGo passthrough. It's basically an eGo 650 battery that has a USB cable that goes to the other end of the battery.

Best I can do is give you a link to a video of the passthrough, you will have to check your suppliers in the States. YouTube - Joye EGO PASS-THROUGH Review from VaporGalaxy.com I'm not supporting the supplier on the video, it's just the first video I came across in a quick search.

The reviewer tends to rabbit on a bit and is not real clear on detail. But it is a 3.7v 650mah battery that acts as a passthrough as well.

I've had one of these for months and use it constantly at work. You can vape from a dead battery as soon as it is plugged in and will also give you approx 6hrs when it is fully charged and unplugged.

Edit: It will also plug into a lighter adapter for the car as a passthrough but also as alternative battery charging option if there is a power failure. Good product.

Thanks clark8876 and amrnation. I have a Yeti 510 so unless i am wrong about "all" 510's being able to mix match it should work for me. I just have the regular cartos that came with the Yeti. They will work right? As far as the volts go... it doesn't matter to me. 5v would be great but in the end, i just want to get away from swaping out batteries all the time. Hints... me asking about the passthrough with a battery to begin with. :) I thought it was odd.

I've used a couple of the 'light wire' passthroughs in the past and they have always failed where the wire goes into the actual passthrough (from the wires being bent at right angles every time you pick it up). That seems to be their weak point. I was constantly pulling them apart and having to solder the connections back together.

The two things that I liked about the eGo passthrough is that you can get a replacement cable from any computer/electronics store and the battery gives you the same charge time as a standard 650mah eGo battery (6+ hours) when charged.

Here in Aus the price difference is only $5 from a standard 650mah eGo battery ($17-$22).

Agreed amrnation, I tend to buy more Riva gear than eGo but this one is good.

Edit: In Flames, all your your 510 gear is compatible.

In Flames, I know it's difficult when you get a whole heap of advice, going in different directions, but for $20 odd dollars I can recommend the eGo passthrough. I've had mine since October last year and have used it every day since then. As a matter of fact, I'm using it now. It still has charge since walking out of the office 6 hours ago.

I'll walk back in there tomorrow and hook it up to the USB and it will go all day, again.

Some day it will give up the ghost, but not yet!!!:)

I have 4 PT's. One 3.7V 510 PT (it has the inline battery like the one you were asking about), a 5V 510 PT (these do not have an inline battery) and both of my mods have 5V PT options. I haven't had one break yet. The 3.7V 510 was my first PT and it still works like a charm. All I did was put a little electrical tape around the end of the battery where the cord comes out to give it some stability. I keep the 510's as back-ups to my back-ups these days.
