Patriot vs. Taurus?

In terms of holding alot of juice and overall performance which is better the Taurus or the Patriot?

Also im trying to purchase a black Taurus cap will it fit on the patriot's base?

From what I have seen they look to be identical with the exception of the cap. I just purchased a Patriot v1.2 that has a different base and cap but it is essentially the same, just comes down flush over the entire base. I believe the Taurus still has the lip at the base that is at 22mm.
