Wow. Really? Any confusion with offer status is generally cleared up quickly and then current offer re-posted. It's nothing to jump on the mods about, IMO.

This IS for pay it forwards, but questions come up sometimes and they are allowed. Sticking to the offers is best, but that is difficult to make happen.

Seems to me there has always been a bit of chit-chat in the PIF thread, including the mods (looking at the old PIF, and the history of this one). Either to ask questions or just quick idle chat. I see no harm in it at all. If people get confused on what the current offer is, there always seems to be someone quick to update and repost the current.
