One time I PMed her to ask if she minded if I took one cause I had previously taken one, and she missed putting the laser pointer in it. I swear she got RIGHT back to me and said "why would I mind silly?" Went back to get it, and GONE!

Yeah, I'm so with you on that one. I mean not just PIFs either, wants, needs, whatever. I'm not one to PM everyone when I get a package from them, but I see to it that it's made known somewhere if I don't. Postage adds up, I'd rather not pay for delivery confirmation to ensure a package has arrived. I know you can use PP and get it free, but stamps.com is tossing some freebies in to keep me another month.

On the .88 cents thing. Most PIF packages are over 3/4 inch. There's an extra charge for that. sugismimi, I don't think we've missed anything from you, but in general we get a lot of postage due packages. Not a big deal for us at all. MM pays for it and leaves us an envelope with an amount on it, and we put it in there the next day. IDK if that's standard procedure or not though?????

Lastly, the postage thing is an innocent mistake, guess I see the other as more of just kinda proper etiquette type thing. Sorry if anyone finds that offensive.

That's the same with me, I get alot of packages that need say .07 all the way to 1.23 one time. It's not a big deal, but then I added up how much I paid for others PIFIng to me and it came to something like 8.45, well that's like 4 packages I could send out. So sometimes it's a bit annoying, especially when it's mostly from the same person(s). Like they just don't get it. I want anyone who gets short postage from me, to let me know. So I can one pay back and for another, up my postage on the next package weighing approximately the same, the next time.
So please anyone getting a package from me that is short of postage, please let me know. Thank you!!!

I know it's my own fault... I was actually typing a PM to her... she is helping / teaching me about DIY stuff.... She is an AWESOME person!!!

Oh.... and about thanking people who have sent stuff to me... I sent PM's to them.. I was not sure who wanted it to be out in the open or who wanted to keep in private.. I am still learning the ropes around here. So I figured privately would be best.

DNC- I always PM people when i receive a package whether it is a trade or PIF. I have not received a single PM confirmation of receipt on anything that I have sent through PIF. I got way too carried away last week and had too much PIFing going on so I do know how hard it can be to keep up with everyone sending you stuff. I just assume that it arrived in OK condition and that no news must be good news.

PS - Don't feel bad Rose. I always miss the good stuff too! I think that alot of people must have internet on their phones in order to be constantly watching this thread.

I made that mistake once.. the lady at the PO corrected me.. you have to be sure you're setting it to 1st class parcel, and not first class letter. that should do the trick. hope it helps

I had to deal with the PO & shipping a lot in my side business. I made a helpful post in the PIF shipping thread. That might help everyone.
