I love mine. I have the same design (black/blue). So far, it's pretty reliable and it gets a lot of second glances. If you end up liking it, I'd recommend picking up at least one more battery. Depending on your usage, it's nice to have them on a nice charge-use rotation. I wear a battery out before the next is charged, so I like having that third there.

If I already owned a 901, I would probably take my chances with one of these. What the heck....for $30 you get 2 batts, an atomizer and a charger. If it turned out bad, then I only lost $30. If good, I'd go back!

When I first ordered from bestecig, I had no idea what I was in for. The order was $50 so I gave it a shot.....and I have been very pleased with them ever since. I guess you don't know unless you try it. Pretty cheap though if it works out for you.

Good luck....and let us know!

I do, and I did. I am going to make a prediction, perhaps unfairly (apologies to the seller if I'm wrong). I predict a 75% chance of getting 1 good batt and 1 bad, 20% chance of getting a fully functional kit and 5% chance of total rubbish.

Vegas anyone?

Your Probably right jaaxx, though if I do have problem spare parts come pretty cheap... Its not much. Spent 29 dollars... I think it was a good deal and if its rubbish, then I guess I lost 29 dollars. I will be ordering my spare parts from pure smoker of course.

Hey Also, I think the peewee that he sells is compatiable with my mini that I have. They look exactly alike.

G'Day Guys ... 1st time poster here so bear with me lol
I am in Australia, and fairly used to dealing with chinese sellers, both on ebay and not.
There seems to be a fair markup on the same products outside of china ( and yes , it appears this is your insurance for a locally based supplier and for them actually testing the gear before sending it to you ) However most chinese suppliers base their prices on the sheer volume of product they shift rather than having smaller stock levels and charging a larger retail.
A DSE901 kit purchased from any of the larger Chinese Distributors will set you back less than US$30 ( 2 batts, charger, 5 carts , spare atomiser) I see on most USA & UK sites the price can be US$40 -US$70 and up . I might add that my supplier guarantees batts and atomisers for 12 months ( the catch being you supply postage both ways , I intend to get around this by mailing any faulty stuff back and waiting until I place an order for juice or other spares and having a replacement part shipped with that order)
I am comfortable dealing with chinese suppliers and have found them to be in the main helpful and mainly honest.
I reckon they might surprise you Jaxx ?
Here in Aus there just isnt an e-cig retailer I can find that isn't just in it for the quick novelty buck, I hope that changes soon , but for now , for me , dealing with the chinese direct looks the way to go ? I hope your purchase will be as painless as mine have been , if not I can put you onto a bloke who knows a bloke lol

Maybe YOU could become that supplier :D

Nice avatar by the way. Haven't seen too many of them recently.

Thanks for the weblink :)
I have looked at this site before,
Comparing 30ml e-liquid from china US$9 ( AU13.15) to their liquid @AU$29.50, that's 125 % markup lol ( I see they are doing a 40 ml bonus at the moment but I didn't factor that in as its a promotion)
If I order 9 bottles (the maximum EMS amount) that's AU$117 +$AU15 postage $132 compared to ordering from e-ciggy.com its AU$229.5 albeit with free postage.
Quite a difference ??? $97 in my pocket !!!
The spares and starter kits from the aussies arent too bad , with I'd say an average 40% increase over what can be obtained from ordering from china direct.

Having said all that , I think e-ciggy will get my business for spares etc as I do like to encourage local talent hopefully their mail service will work out a little faster too, although it really only takes a week or so from china to here most times.
(having said that my last order is now in the hands of customs for the weekend lol and they dont work thru like EMS does :p )

UKUSA.. I'd love to be that supplier , but as a disabled pensioner ( Mental note , using a semi-trailer to stop your forward progress at 100 kph is far more effective than wearing out your brake pads but hurts a wee bit more) funds are fairly limited for me at the moment and I realise, that if I did try as a supplier it would be a half assed attempt that would probably fail lol ( and yes the bike is fairly rare lol 37 of em left in the world and mine is one of 3 known unrestored complete ones)

Di .... I was in the Pt Broughton pub 2 years ago on my way to visit my brother in Perth, Then had some fish n chips for tea on the beach, took the Pt Pirie Rd instead of just fanging up the Princes Hwy , road less travelled and all that . Nice place :)

:) Just went back and checked e-ciggy.com today --- their e-liquid is now marked down to $AU 19.50 !!!! I am not sure if this is pure co-incidence or whether it is a sign of the power of these forums??
Either way , Hats off to this Qld supplier ... It may well be that someone in Australia DOES care about the customers and the costs involved ... FULL KUDOS to e-ciggy !!!

When you compare an e-cig to most other consumer electronics, honestly what you should invest in is a distributor with good customer service. The e-cig is a small and fragile device and what you'll save on e-bay you will make up for in spare parts within the first month.

The cool thing about these forums is that you will meet good suppliers and hear others peoples first hand stories of those suppliers. If you were in the USA i would recommend jeff @ janty and steve @ puresmoker.com, but i am not sure about the lines of distribution in australia. You would probably do good to go with janty if they have a distributor in aus.

I hear david yang is also good for that area (he may have a distributor in australia).

G'Day Zach ... I must point out that I dont get my e-cig stuff thru e-bay LOL ( however I do believe the company I am dealing with does sell there as well :) )
I can agree entirely with the distributor points you bring up, but it appears the dilemma we face here in Aus is local sellers who sell you exactly the same product as a Chinese one , who have markups thru the roof. I think the major problem is simply that e-smoking hasn't become in Aust , what it has in the UK or the USA, ie a clientbase that is large enough to provide an adequate living without marking up to the max. Hopefully that will change as time goes on.
A bit of simple maths for everyone concerned ... the manufacturer of 90% of the worlds e-liqiud retails a 1.2 litre bottle of e-liquid for US$92 ( minimum purchase of 2 bottlesand the shipping of this one bottle worldwide tops out at US$86 or so.. for some reason Czechoslovakia costs heaps more at $US$117 but USA UK AUS etc is all around 75-85 ) so thats US$ 270 for the equivalent of 80 bottles shipped to your door... That's US$3.38per 30 ml !!!
So add to this packaging ( a glass bottle say, that retails for US$ 83 for 330) which works out at an additional $0.25, and you can see what markups I am talking about, I am all for people making a living, but it seems to me that e-smoking while it remains a "hobby industry" in countries like Aus and maybe the US and UK commands retail prices that do not reflect the investment in pure monetary terms ( it may well reflect the time and effort of running a small sideline business)
I noticed earlier on, Packaday ordered a bulk shipment from the manufacturer to the Aussies , This I am sure he would back up was an enormous logistical task , I have been there done that with other non e-cig stuff from china, but it would have shown those who took part, the actual cost of e-smoking, not the retail cost.
A distributor is simply someone who does this for a living rather than helping individuals out , and as such is entitled to a profit, but let us again do some maths, a retail for 30 ml of $30 for the initial investment of bulk e-liquid (2.4 litres @ $270 shipped) yields the distributor $2400... a profit of $2130 or around 800%
I will point out I am NOT retailer bashing here, I fully agree everyone is entitled to a return on their efforts, and I know running a specialist business such as we are involved in requires sacrifice of time and effort and resources, maybe retailers are simply trying to stay afloat with the small client base they have and are doing us all a favour by doing the work of importation for us !!!
I simply hope that as the client base expands , the savings are passed on and we eventually start paying something a little closer to the wholesale prices:)
All of my ranting above can be balanced that here in Aus, my smoking was costing me over $AU 12 a day and as such e-smoking IS much cheaper even at distributors prices, it could be ridiculously cheaper if prices landed where closer to prices available for importation.
( Practical note , all figures above are my own rantings and could be wrong LOL I also have not taken into account any duties or taxes imposed by any countries, for the reason that a private operator in Aus can import goods up to the value of $AU1000 ( excepting alcohol or tobacco products)without being slugged for duty etc .
I DO BELIEVE RETAILERS ARE TO BE REWARDED FOR THEIR EFFORTS I guess we are paying huge amounts as it is at a hobby business level rather than a higher level)
