Hold the horses on the paypal issue at least for TW(and at least for now). Just placed an order for a bottle of TW liquid, with diff. credit card connected to it. One I wanted to place, and this thread made me REALLY want to finally place it. It went through w/no problems so far. I know its not Johnsons Creek, my equal favorite, but they didnt have the flavor I wanted. Not sure how it works on paypal credit line, which i no longer have.

The Ban is coming very soon!!!

It appears :-(

Oh please, paypal has nothing to do with the ban.

Wait...............what ban?????

Paypal + ebay are together.
ebay already has banned e-cig.

But not really. it's still being sold on ebay.

Maybe JC has a bad reputation with paypal............you think?
I will never buy from that co again.

paypal, google and all the rest are false security blankets. you can always make a phone call to your credit card company and reverse any transaction just as easy if not easyer than paypal/google. also if you do dispute a clam with a credit card company, it cost the retailer big bucks!
the retailers only use pp/g because of you! the customer, CC are cheaper for the retailer to use for any kind of business unless your sales are lower than 10K week. Screw PP/G and all the rest:evil:
Im not mad, i just like getting even:evil:

Yes i was once a internet retailer and i got screw more than once by PP/G both.
It got so bad i just got out.

Edit to add, you can get a pre-paid cc at any store :)

I am mad and I love getting even!

If PayPal has made the business decision to not allow e-cig related transactions then that, as a private company, is their choice. My choice, and yours, as well as all the suppliers', is to not give PayPal our business.

It's simple as that. They don't want to play, they lose customers.

Soo then how do we buy our stuff?

Really i hope that you stop dealing with PayPal, for me in Egypt and other 90 countries PayPal has no service for us, so we always searching for suppliers accepting Credit Cards directly.
I wish if all suppliers can give an option for direct payment in addition to PayPal.

    Hi Guys ( 1st time here! )
Well if e bay own paypal or visa versa I guess it follows, but it does make one wonder what other reasons they may have, might they be involved in the tobacco industry? Does anyone remember when e bay / paypal was cool & hip. By the way is this ban only affecting the USA so far?:sneaky:

Yes, I remember when Ebay/PayPal were cool and hip, but those days are long gone. I am an ebay seller and have been for a few years now (artwork). Ebay has made so many changes that it is getting more difficult for the little guy to sell, they want the big bucks.

IMO It is not a fun auction, hunt for a bargain, find cool stuff, kind of place now. You used to be able to find anything on ebay!! Now, apparently they are PC?? Would love to know where they are getting the pressure from.

A few months ago Ebay removed the option of allowing sellers to accept Money orders or checks. (Some of my long-time collectors paid with checks) Now you can only use electronic forms of payment. And since they (Ebay) own PayPal, well...... go figure. I have been thinking of dropping both of them anyway. They can have their new "retail experience".

As a seller, I NEVER leave any money in my Paypal account and would advise other vendors to make a regular habit of transferring to the bank daily. It takes a couple of days to transfer but better safe than sorry. Any time a buyer complains, they will freeze your account until a resolution is reached. I have never had it happen but I know a couple of artists that did. OK done ranting.

It really sucks and I am ....... #$@(*&^%%

to be honest with you i have never liked paypal or ebay ( in that order. ) all that much in the first place. let them kill off their future potential business for themselves and each other (2x 2x 2x! lol) before it even gets rolling. ROFL thats great really. everytime i go to a site and am forced to use paypal i dont like it.. i prefer direct credit card transactions. and to cut down on the likelihood someone would get my cc info's i really prefer the co's (online) i deal with to have a phone # i can call and place the order with directly as an option. ( no computer necessary. ) its in your best interest plus its safer for your partners in the transactions. the only time its really been of use to me is for ppl with a discover card as some merchants only accept mastercard/visa anyways just my rant. ;)

I need to leave my PP open because sometimes people pp me money. I don't use ebay much anymore because their seller prices have gone up and when you see a good price, the shipping is a ripoff. No more real bargains. And the place is filled with dealers, and very few non business people. it's changed dramatically from when it started.
From now on if there's a choice of cc or pp, I will choose pp last or go somewhere else. I just ordered me a discover card. Mastercard had froze my whole acct till I called and they said it was because there was suspicious activity on my card (tried to purchase ammo). Visa had always called me first if they thought the charges were suspicious. But Visa had charged me 40 bucks a few months ago because I paid off the balance one day before the billing cycle, meaning it didn't look like I made a payment for that month. They wouldn't remove it. Screw them too.

You can always pay by direct payment to your supplier, just get them to give you their incoming account details.

You can use telephone banking or if you have on-line banking it's very easy, you can set them up on your payments list & make a direct payment as & when... simple... I do this all the time with family, friends & companies I use.

PS: as long as you have money in your account, that is:D
