Such an excellent clip. Sums up what many of us think, I think. Both on mesh wicks, our chosen resistance and mechanical mods. It's just an excellent combo that so many simply don't get.

Yup, and the issue seems to be that some just can't manage to set it up right, and bash the whole thing for their own lack of ability. Grimm Green still can't roll a mesh wick to save his life.

I still have issues with getting up to 1 ohm with spaces wraps. my lon aways seems to end up about .5-.7 and floats. same with the micromega, but i can't truly speak on it till the rebuild kit arrives (dodgy insulator). I agree with Phil 100% though. "No, not when it's set up right."

You using 28g kanthal?

I used 28 kanthal for a while, but I found I got ohms creep with it. The resistance would creep up on me to where my .7 ohm coil would end up at .9 and higher over time. So I went with 26 kanthal, and that didn't happen anymore. The 26 kanthal stays put better. I had to throw and extra loop on it, but I've been pretty happy with it.

On little guys like the lon and the sat22 I end up using 30awg to get the resistance up above 1 without an excessive number of wraps. It's pretty flimsy if you're used to working with the thicker stuff and can be a bit fussy to get set up but works real well once it settles down.

I like my dripper, and think man that tastes good. I love my kayfuns and will never stop using them.

I sit down and load up some ry4 or caramel in my geni and take a hit, as im going to set it down i think wait one more and take another hit. Then i notice a dry hit, and it hits me.... I just sat there and chain vaped the tank dry, loving on the taste lol


I think that vid is old. In the taifun gt2 review vid he stated he has moved on from his mesh days. And he quit using the provari a while ago

It's a very old video. It might have been his first attempt at building an atomizer. His only comparisons at the time might have been cartomizers and clearomizers.
