PCC case for KR808D-1 threading

I have a hard metal case that was for my V2 ecig. Since then I've gone to the Volt/Bloog which I love. On those sites they show a plastic charging case but I was wondering if that V2 PCC would properly charge my new Volt or do I have to get that plastic case shown on Smokeless Image & Bloog's web site?

That older (but tried and true) metal PCC will charge any Kr8 battery, including the VOLT, Maxx Fusion, and G6. It will even charge the XL batts; you just wouldn't be able to close it.

And, of course, it makes a better paperweight than those James Bondian plastic ones.
