PCC lights?

Howdy all,

I saw a thread recently about the meanings of the LEDs in the VK PCC, but I'll be damned if I can find it. I received mine today and am befuddled as to what the lights are trying to tell me. Could someone point me in the right direction, please?

The light closest to the battery will be red while charging a batt, then go out when its done. The light furthest from the batter will be red while the PCC is charging, then will go green when its done.

Thanks very much, Dan! The unit-charging light (as opposed to the battery-charging light) has been steadily red for a long time, and I wasn't sure if that meant it was done or what. Guess it just takes a while.

it usually lasts about 5 hours or so to compleately charge a new battery and sometimes the light will stick and not go out but after about 5 hours I would say its pretty much charged

You are welcome, and yes, it does take a while to charge the PCC, but it holds enough charge to fill up a battery about 4-5 times....so it makes sense to take a while.

I went for a trip recently, charged everything up before I went, including the PCC. My question is...how long will the PCC stay charged with no battery in it?

I had left my PCC for three days without needing a charge....but that's just me. Ya never know.

I take my PCC with me everywhere I go (to have an extra battery with me and also to show off my VK to people who've never seen an e-cig). I try to remember to unscrew the battery once it's charged, since that helps keep the PCC from draining.

But even if you leave the battery screwed in, the PCC will "discharge" and "recharge" the battery periodically to keep it charged up.

I don't use the PCC at home that much (at home I usually just use my wall chargers), so my PCC so far has stayed charged up for several days. I just plugged it in to check it, and it's still charged up (green light) from over a week ago.
