All the pictures on the website show the PCC open. Im really curious to know what it looks like closed, and what the different colors look like. Ideally they would make a really classy one that is all silver like old style movie stars used to carry (you know what I mean right?)

Any thoughts/pictures to share would be great

The PCCs look exactly like the carrying cases.

they look just like the V4L cases, when closed--look at the old cases, the designs/colors are the same.

I wish they had more of the colors available to look at, also wish they had a stainless steel/silver style case...

you can prob get the silver style in the old case ($5) if it's available and switch it. i've been toying with the idea of doing that with mine. it seems like the charger itself is securely (but not so securely i can't finangle it out) adhered to the inside of the exact same model of case--shouldn't be a prob to do the switch. i love the silver case, myself. & kinda want the platinum too.

That brings up something that I have been wondering about: What does the closed platinum case look like? The silver case seems to be embossed with some kind of star pattern that I don' care too much for... I would prefer a smooth surface. Does anyone have a pic of the platinum case/know what it looks like?

The only problem with that is that the PCC has a little cut-out in the top edging so it can be closed when the USB cable is extended. The carrying case doesn't have that.

No big deal as long as you don't close the PCC while you're recharging it. Of course, a dremel would fix that too.

pawpaw, i didn't even think about that since i don't charge w/ it closed, like, ever, but i'm sure hubs can fix that little detail if i decide to.

I agree, a plain silver case, even with a much smaller logo, would be the best! I'm so picky when it comes to style I'm realizing. If I'm gonna spend money on it I want it to match what I think it should be...

I'm thinking about going to a thrift shop/antique store, picking up a case then getting custom foam, which isn't too expensive.

ask pawpaw about his modded-for-carts only case. i'd think just lining with foam and then putting in elastic straps would work jes' fahn.

I didn't "mod" my carrying case. I just ripped the molded plastic out of the bottom half and called it "good enough".

It will now easily hold 10 cartos with the condoms on.

Ooooooh! I can't wait. Thanks Kimmy! I'm hoping it similar to the new platinum extra longs too, sans any embossing. What's worse than waiting on pins and needles for your V4L shipment to arrive? Waiting for someone else's.

It holds 4 cartos now instead of 2. Does anyone know if it's any bigger?
