I have the silver one and it's... um, shiny-shiny and does indeed have embossed stars or what I at first thought were familiar looking leaves-of-ill-repute, but they're not - the only item from V4L that I thought less than beautiful. But not awful. I love the sometimes-criticized logo-laden batts - I think very elegant and def Louis Vuitton . Def aching for the x-long batt case to arrive, and flavor restock, and new auto PT...

Yeah, I'm waiting for a lot of stuff too, LOL. But what 'new auto PT' are you talking about?

+1 to digitalepiphany's request for pics of the new case and I'd still love to see a pic of the outside of the platinum case.

I ordered the platinum and it's that silver one with all the stars all over it. I don't know if they made a mistake, but thats what I got. I ordered platinum thinking it was like the chrome batts I have, my mistake. Maybe they will have chrome cases which will be near what you are all looking for.

Oh Kimmy, I'm so sorry to hear that. I really do think that they sent you the wrong item... I hope that you like it anyway. Bad for me too because I was looking forward to you posting a pic of the platinum case.

Nilius, thanks for posting such a detailed/clear pic of the silver case... the design on the case doesn't suit my tastes but that's a great pic!

The PCCs are just covered in a sticky backed fabric, all of the ones I have are anyhow. I have the silver, black, and zebra. Same story with each. Pop the pin out of the hinge, take the little silver frame bit apart at the seam and pop out the fabric covered part. Get whatever color fabric you want...a little spray adhesive and BAM! new PCC.

I got the zebra one, bc i like being....cool hahah but its pretty nice. It has a texture to it that makes it look like fur. Cool case
