Does the PCC lose its charge after you unplug it and don't charge up a battery in it?

The reason I'm asking is that I lost my PT yesterday so I've been alternating charging my batteries while on the computer. My PCC is already charged but I'm not sure I should unplug it until I go to another room or not.

All batteries self-discharge over time - but not over THAT time. If you're leaving unplugged for months, then yes.

Does anyone know "when or if" there will be a PCC for XL batteries?
