I can charge my batteries about 3 times on my pcc before the case looses its charge.
As for the rest, I charge my batteries overnight and take them off the charger in the morning when I get up. Unplug the chargers and I am good to go for the day. I wouldnt leave them plugged in or on the charger all the time.

But if I don't use it for, let's say, 2-3 weeks or even a month, will it still be charged or will it lose it's charge simply due to time?

I purchased my pcc more or less for emergencies when I am away from home. Does the pcc lose it's charge over time? Is it okay to leave a charged battery in it?

The PCC battery will loose charge over time, as will any rechargeable battery, top it off every week or two to be safe. I don't think leaving a charged batt in will hurt anything.

How about the wall and usb charger. Is it okay to leave a fully charged battery hooked up or should it be removed when charged?

That's fine, just know that ANY wall charger/power supply, that is plugged in to the wall, is using power even if the device is fully charged, or if there is nothing plugged in to it (ie; a charger hanging out of the wall socket with a charged bat in it, or a cell phone charger with no phone attached). Ain't gonna hurt nothen, it's just a waste of electricity.

It would also be good to use the pcc to charge one batery every time you charge it. the way i understand it, batteries are usually stored at a 40% charge because that is the bottom end of where they put out their rated voltage. you'll notice that a standard rechargable li-ion battery rated at 3.7v actually puts out 4.2 at a full charge, then tapers to 3.7v, where it stays for a while. after this, it wanes even more, where the protection circuitry,, if it has it, kicks in around 2.5v. someone with more experiance with batteries please chime in if this doesn't sound right.

it's just a waste of electricity.

And if you unplug everyone's here on the forum forever, you'll get enough electricity to boot your computer up and post about it, then immediately shut it down. ;)

We're talking micro-amps versus amps, and that's one of the "green" things that drives me indescribably bonkers - but I'll let it go now.

them li'l ampie things add up. i'm no green, but i have noticed that shutting off the power strips to my desk (1 comp tower, 2 monitors, 5 external HDs, 3 printers, several usb devices and chargers, most with there own power supplies) at night, balances my power bill enough so that I almost don't notice the hundreds of watts of grow lights that keep my Orchids alive... :D

Leaving computers on is a big drain for sure. But, I didn't know that Orchids took that much light I thought they prefered an indirect light sourse, like a thousand watt High Pressure Sodium/Metal Halide to start off with?
