Just wanted to say that I'm finally looking forward to trying your products Imeo! They're quite hard to get hold of so jumped on the chance when they were available for preorder and bought an Odysseus and Penelope. Can't wait, have only heard good things and I'm sure I will love them just as much as everyone else! :) Will certainly buy the Proteus when available. Thanks Imeo for making devices of a high quality that all others strive to achieve! :)

Ok quick question from a GG noob. I've ordered both the latest Ody and also a Penelope from COV. The only mods I have are a silver bullet and provari. Soon to have a Legacy as well. Plan on picking up a GGTS as soon as I have the money and they're available! Also looking to get the new Pro. from Imeo when available. Anyway, question is, both Ody and Penelope are 510 threaded connectors correct? As in, they will both fit on my SB and Provari without any adapters or modifications?

If I were to get a GGTS when available, will it come with the Ody base to allow the adjust. air flow control? Or would I need to order the GGTS Ody specific base? What do the GGTS come threaded for? I assume the penelope does not have a specific base, as it was made for the newest GG mod? Would the Ody and Penelope work with the GGTS right from the start, just without the adjus. air flow?

Sorry for the silly questions, I'm totally new to the GG and rebuild-able attys. Just hoping I'll be able to use both Ody and Penelope with my SB and Provari as soon as I receive them.

I also gather that I should just stock up on wick from COV when they get more in stock? Probably the best stuff to use for newbie like myself? I already have res. and no res. wire, both Kanthal and Nicrhome and nickel/silver. Not sure if I'm ready to try cotton or nextel without any experience.

Thanks all! Just hope I didn't make a mistake in purchasing the Ody and Penelope by not having the necessary mod, just want to be able to use both when they arrive. Safe to assume that Ody and Penelope are basically the same design that use the same wire and wick as well? Just different sizes?

The Ody and Penelope will work on the Provari but with my SB I need an adapter since the SB has a recessed connector. I dont have a Legacy but looking the photos of it it should work without adapters.

The GGTS doesnt come with the Ody GGTS base so you need to get one if want to use it with the airflow control. (The Ody GGTS base is a must have it, highly recommended) :) I never look back since I got mine. If not you can use the Ody and Penelope with the GGTS but with adapters and without airflow control.

About the wick both comes with the CE2 wick, the best to start with and the same that CoV sells, so you would be fine with that. Also comes with res and no res wires.

Right now Im using cotton with my iAtty and Ody and so far so good. So nice alternative when no regular wick is available. An so cheap. ;)

Thank you NandyDC! I'm considering picking up the Ody GGTS base when they're back in stock, so I have one when I finally get my hands on a GGTS. But by the sounds of it, the airflow control wont work with the GGTS when using the Penelope?

I've got 510-510 adapters so I should be set to use the Ody and Penelope on my Silver Bullet. Thanks for the tip though. Also, if you search ebay for silica wick, one listing shows up. It is 2mm silica rope. Seller is a vapecentral. Would that work good? Is it the same thing as COV will be stocking?

I will be stocking up on wick from COV when they get more anyway, just nice to get some on it's way now :) Thanks for all the help!

The new Ody wick is supposed to be 3mm as opposed to 2mm. The air control does work on GGTS without the base, but not as well and in order to use it, you'll need the 510->901 rethreader (that comes with the GGTS) and a 901->510 adapter and use it without the top cap. The major downside with it though is that you run the risk of destroying the 901->510 adapter if overtightened which will create a short which will destroy the button spring and main spring on the GGTS (don't ask how I know this). The GGTS/Ody base does work better and also adds .5ml or so to the tank. The full air control of the GGTS base also gives you more vapor when fully open.

Actually the best set up for this as stated by Imeo is 510-901 rethreader (GG), 901-808 (small), 901-510. Pop the top cap on and go!!
