No problem the wires COV has in stock should work well but I would hold off on ordering wick as it seems there will be a new wick with the new Ody and Penelope release. Also since you have the time you can order from places like wires.co.uk and still get them in time. Costs a little more off the bat but should last you a good looooong while. I bought wire with a couple friends here when iAtty came out and I am still using it after like 10 months.

There are lots of wire options for these like silver nr wire Kanthal or Nichrome for the res part. Also many different guages so som good searches might help a bit.

I believe Ody came with .15 mm Nichrome and .2mm Nickel wire.
wires.co.uk : Bare Nickel Wire look at 50g Bare nickel .2mm wire 14.30 p = 178 meters should last you a good long wire

wires.co.uk : Bare Nickel Chrome / Nichrome Section
look for 50g bare Nichrome wire .15mm 12.10 p = 340 meters again should last half of eternity.

you can also buy 10 meters of the Nichrome for a bit less and you might want to do so just because even 10 meters will last a long while and that frees up some money to try some of the other guages and types of resistance wire.

Okay I have been AFK yet again but as I understand it (someone PLEASE correct me if I am wrong here - I know from Bruce's page he has already listed on his site for the Penelope, he is asking for the ECF user name and number when ordering the Penelope part.

That way, he can cross reference all orders for Penelope with those that reserved by serial number. Then when the electronics are to Imeo's standards and the Proteus ships, you'll have your Penelope already when you order the serialized Proteus.

Clear as mud? If so, someone jump in and give the old fart a hand explaining this please!

yes but I think some of the confusion is that the penelope will not have a serial number, the serial will only be on the proteus.
@Fuginazole, all of the penelope's are the same without serial numbers so you just preorder without worrying bout the serial until Proteus, unless Bruce is asking for it, (which he is probably for future ref w/proteus). I apologize if something has changed but I am pretty sure that this is the case.

You're spot on Major. I think the only reason Bruce is asking us tonight to mention out serial numbers and ECF handle is that he needs to keep track of the reserved Proteus to come. As Imeo stated the one's that reserved #'s can get Penelope first and then are guaranteed to have their Proteus when it's available.

Example :
I've reserved two #'s so tonight I'll preorder 2 Penelope's and mention in my order both #'s I reserved as well as my ECF name so Bruce can reference my order.

The only reason I could see for him to do that was to try to insure his customers that reserved a number also got their shot at ordering the Penelope.

I am kinda hoping this is the case although it doesn't really look like it to me. I think Proteus would be a bit bare without Penelope and since origionally they were supposed to come together I am hoping that splitting them up doesn't leave some people getting left out of Penelope.

all people that will get the penelope will have a priority for Proteus fright my good friend. This is the second part of the whole plan. But if some people that got penelope dont want Proteus for some reason then other people without penelope can buy it. Also Proteus is an exellent VV device either. AD air control, removable electronic part, mechanical button and moving center pole. It will work with any atomizer and its AD air control will work with any 510 atomizer equal or fatter than penelope. It will work with any kind of atomizer too with adapters
