Glad I found this thread. After watching Todd's review of the new V3, I decided to finally bite the bullet, especially when I learned that I didn't have to use NR-R-NR wire anymore. (grew tired of it with my Sophias and Dripper Pros) I do have a question for you all. Has anyone used the Penelope in any variation on a Hana or other dna device? If so, how did they like it compared to a mech? My intent is to use it on my bOd Mecha, but I am falling quickly in love with my Hana, especially around 18-21 watts.

This is all I do for the moment, The penelope V2 and V3 on a vaporshark. Actually the V2 works better I can cranck it up to 20 watts! My first builds on the V3 work well to about 15 watts and then there are some wicking issues. I think the channels are just too shallow. Anyhow I do love a ceramic cup so I`ll be selling of my upgrades for ithaka and penny soon. I did need a zapper though, to make the perfect connections. Can`t wait for the futura and the rose to arrive...
I wanted to get a Rose V2 as well, but I can't seem to figure out when they are going to be in stock anywhere. I plan on selling the remainder of my by Leo attys and just waiting for the Rose to eventually be released. Thanks for the tips regarding the wicking. I'll work on a few builds that have worked for me in the past and let you know how it turns out.

It`s far away for me too, but check out vapersphere. Or you can keep an eye out on vapist too. Or just stay here , cause nothing is going to beat the p&p combo

Started with penelope v2 when released very happy with it . My favorite build on v2 is 3 + 2 mm. silica wick pre made 0,16 mm. wire at 2,2 ohms , i'm using since i started vaping , 100% flavorless vg . 12mg . nico during a year or so , now the last 6 months 9mg.
Only using penelope since i got it . Changed completely my vaping experience to Great ! Thank you Imeo !
So as soon as V3 was released i Got one too . Very satisfied . After all testings on different builds suggested in this forum I personally found my best yesterday building a sort of micro coil a bit different from showed in thread and using cotton and Yes , fantastic . I made a coil with 2 mm. drill instead of 1,5 mm. and as Imeo suggested didn't torch wire at all just cleaned with alcohol . I used 0,20 mm. Kanthal wire, 5 full wraps, two half turns , total 6 to make a 2.1-2.2 ohm . I inserted cotton and trimmed to length to cover one forth of the juice channels . ( note : my VG juice is thinned with 10% water ) . Perfect all day!!! no floods ,no burn taste . Thanks again Imeo for such a perfect device . I noticed that you changed the cuts on the base, oposite to 510 holes and I think that it's good idea . In my opinion gives a perfect draw , tighter then v2 with air control full open . So add me to the list of GG fans . Never had a chance to get a GG mod . I have now two mech. mods , SS megalodon with 18350 bat and the nemesis with 18490 bat. alternating with both penelope v2 and v3 . And Yes I would really like to have a short version for my V3 and Please add me to list for Proteus and other new 17mm. mod.

I dont really know Fog but even if one person managed to do that then I have to change the design

i am really sorry, but i was on of them.
maybe it is because i take my penny´s with me and sometimes in my pocket, so there is to much preasure on the drip tips. it was not my intend to stop Imeo from producing them !

Received a Pv3 last week, absolutely love it. I hate cotton and microcoils, way to much faff for me and tastes like ....e!! So simple 3mm ecowool, few wraps or 0.2mm nichrome. 1.4 or 5 ohms, cut just outside the chamber. Screwed it down, filled it, not one dry hit, loads of vapour, heat and flavour. Really simple and lovely bit of kit. Could not be happier. Service from esmokeguru was excellent as well. I'm a convert.

Going on this picture its single...I undid the cap earlier to look at the coil and it was all splayed out within the chamber, presumably from winding the JC up and down, so it wasn't really sat in the channels, more like filling out the notched upper section if you like. In any case its really bloody nice, and I'm very pleased. Best purchase in a long time.

Now I seem to understand better. I saw some of your mouthpieces Stan, they`re HUGE. When you take these with you in your pocket it`s logic you`re gonna bend the sides of the penny mouthpiece. Anyhow I got mine and am VERY happy with mine, but I don`t understand, you have whole threaths here that go on about how to polish your stuff and then people break mouthpieces or them pins on the bottom by screwing their GG`s onto their mods???

To each his own. I think around here most people have had really good experience with microcoils and cotton than ekowool. Don't forget that just like with ekowool, the specific type you buy is very important; lot's of cotton is bleached with numerous chemicals that leave a bad taste.
i'm sure microcoils give a sufficiently good vape, i toyed with them a long time ago, i just dont see the point when a standard coil works extremely well and takes no time to build. I like to take the atomizer completely apart every couple weeks to clean so a simple 1.3 ohm (usually) 0.2 nichrome on silica or 0.25 kanthal on genesis always does me well for over 2 years now!!. im lazy i guess and find massive clouds of vapour extremely embarrasing in public, in private they fill my lounge to the point of impaired vision. Cotton also makes me wheeze!
i find the whole cloud chasing bonkers, as if vaping is a sport! makes me chuckle the whole "look at me, im a human night club smoke machine!" thing.

Ah ha, so YOURE the reason I can't get more mouthpieces with air control! You should be in the penalty box and have to sit out one F5 war. Those drip tips are like putting a half meter breaker bar on 5mm socket!
