Have you ever thought about using this kind of set up in a carto tube? The whole screws and post thing. I wish someone would do it and relieve me of nr wire. I love my v3 penny btw. I have 2 and short tank (v2) and modding a v3 mouth piece to fit it. I love the ease of this set up so much that I risked destroying my microstick in order to mod it to take the penny v3. It was totally worth it!

Kind of like achilles but with post and screws. It would be better than any diver or Sophia just by simply the ease of use. Right now people that have a billet box or other carto tank device and want to use rebuildables have either the diver or Sophia to buy. Think what you have done to the Peny v3 and do it on a smaller scale getting rid of the resistance wire for us. I don't mind the ceramic cups but what if instead of non resistance wire on both sides going down to the base of the cup you put post rising from below the cup for the cup to go though and mount your wire upon the screws at the top. That way no non resistance wire.

The ceramic cup really is optional but used it as a way to explain the idea. IMEO I know you have more knowledge and of couse could modify to your hearts content but these devices need a contender and making one that is easy to rebuild without non resistance wire is the 1st step

its because we need space between post cif. Lets say that every post is 3mm fat and the space between post is like Ithaka that is 4mm. If we add 3+3+4=10mm. We then need 1mm for the threads of tube so we go at 11mm. If the width of the tube is 1mm total, then we go finally at 12mm

Vertical or angled coils my friend and put a non conductive finish on the post. Just some new/different ideas. I know you could engineer this deam of an atomizer if you put your mind to it. A simple attempt can be found here Mod in France
Ceramic also I believe would help with cooling the atomizer which you are know for. I apologie if I am off topic too much and hijacked the thread for a min. I will stop.

if these atomizers are rebuildable, it means that the wick is maybe sitting over the posts cif and you have to be careful when you make the wire and when you screw the body on it. But I do believe that this style is ancient. Trying to feed an atomizer via a tank is a GG style but really old and has a lot of problems.

True it's gg style but that's why I came to the creator for this. No worries. The reason I ask is I am a big fan of the billet box and gg. Billet box has supplied a self contained device but not a atomizer. This style that is required by its configuration is something only you have real expertise in.

billet box is a box mod, I just checked it. It seems a very good one if you like box mods

I do for at work as I have to wear scrubs so anything I use has to be small and kept in a pocket. So I can't have a big mod on me. That's why I like the billet box it's vv (even though my heart is with mechs) and it's compact with enough battery life for the day. That's hard to find in a mod these days. Everything is getting bigger for show and power and some people like me like that at home but at work we have to conceal our gear. Especially in a hospital. My microstick and billet box get me though the day. I'd def buy a gg mod if I could use it/ conceal it in the hospital but long tube mods look funny poking out of my scrubs lol

I've been dismissing Proteus because of its battery capacity, but after seeing Penny short on that, this form factor is becoming appealing to me. Very nice!
And I can't get over how much I love my Penny v3. It's the perfect compliment to Ithaka.

That's a 14500 Telegonos. It's a strange beast, operates on AC rather than DC and switches at a very fast 200 kHz (i.e. 200,000 Hz). Has some interesting features that appealed to my engineering background... not that I remember all that AC/DC stuff from 30 years ago...
