Nah, just the East coast or South Central side of PA is booming lately in this thread (it's about time folks!) Earlier before ya'll showed up, we had mostly Pittsburg 'n Erie peoples chatting it up, with only a few chicks from Scranton.
Now lemme tell ya swiss, I never owned an eVic but I imagine you've seen Nick's review(s) and you gotta admit, they were pretty funny (in a bad way) which didn't exactly encourage one to go out and get it, atleast not with the first version. So I'm a little confused as to how you can see the 'varies 5-click single button operation as more of a hinderance than a help. Do you own a Provari or spent some time with one? If no, then you probably understand it as well as I understand the eVic, because we're both wrong!
Truth be told, my favorite is a Reos bottom juice feeding mod. Gravitated from provari's to reos because I'm a dripper through and through.
For the folks in the audience just tuning in, I was eluding to my brother from another mother - swissfactor, that I take the view that comparisons with other mods are reasonable and fair. I don't have one of everything else and 4 Reos because I feel some altruism towards Rob, but because, very simply, having tried most of everything else - they are the best I have ever come across.
Same with Provari for which I have amounted 3 by now, not because I was allergic to money. Backup for a backup.
It's my opinion that people really ought to try a lot of different things and waste as much money and time as i have, because then their appreciation of the simple benefits and maintenance of a Reo is striking.

not to be a naysayer but i personally dislike the vari...for some reason i dislike the single button operation....its surely a great piece of machinery, and fires incredibly well...i just cannot get over the one button to do the multitudes of options. i like my evic better for the money...just an opinion and i know quite a few who love theirs, but i prefer the evic...before you go spending gobs of money on a batt like that. at least give it a test drive
