Hello friends! I am new here and new to electronic smoking too!

After reading the posts here, I decided to order the penstyle from the electronic cigarette company UK along with a spare atomizer and 25 cartridges.

I quit smoking the cancer sticks 5 weeks ago and doing really well! Using the patches has helped! I don't miss them generally but I do miss enjoying a smoke with my brother when I go to his house for the weekend, we always have a good time and now I feel like I am missing out on the smoking! I smoked 20 a day for I think 6 years? Was reading a gadget site and came across the E-Cigarettes and it all started from there!

Is the penstyle from this site any good!? He seems to reply to my emails and recommends the smaller one but not the smallest but I heard the cartridges last longer in the penstyles. I am really excited and can't wait for my e-cigarette to arrive!

Anyway sorry for the long post, I hope it arrives soon!!!

That is great to hear and only makes me wish it would arrive right now!! :D Are they nice and reliable compared to the smaller ones!? I bought 25 tobacco flavour 18mg to go with it, a good choice? Are they the same ones as found on myecig.com and e-cigs in the uk? I watched a video I found on this forum where an e-smoker guy had the penstyle from there and a mini one and it smoked much more than his black coloured dying nJoy and the boxes looked the same :)

yeah,that was Ratindahat...and yes,its the same ecig.

the things about ecigs is that none of them are really reliable, theyre all unpredictable...its an absolute certainty that every atomiser will fail..some fail very quickly, some last for longer...its impossible to predict...and that goes for minis and penstyles.

luckily you have ordered a spare atomiser--my advice is always the same...keep plenty of spares, because you will need them, theres no doubt about that...

also remember, this is vapour, not smoke being produced...it doesnt feel or taste like tobacco smoke...it has a much lighter consistency, and it tastes sweetish...tobacco cartridges dont taste like tobacco or cigarettes,so prepare yourself for that.
its strange at first, but youll grow to like it,if you dont at first.

lastly i have to tell you that cartridges do not last as long as claimed...in my experience,no way do they last as long as a pack of normal cigarettes...maybe half a pack approx.
you got the strong ones,so you should get satisfaction from them.

anyway, just preparing you...im sure youre gonna enjoy the experience.:D

Hi Tribalmasters. Welcome to the forum. You've picked a great forum to be on:D Mine of information and very friendly. I'm relatively new both to e-cigs and this forum too:D

I've been a smoker for 40 years, enjoy smoking so don't want to give up entirely. However, I got my first e-cig about 3 weeks ago and it's a mini. I enjoy both tobacco cigs and the e-cig. The thing about the e-cig is I can and do smoke it anywhere. It's especially handy at work and when I visit my non-smoking friends. I tried it out in her house the other night and she was totally amazed. So much so, she's told her adult son and his friend to go buy one and they can puff away to their heart's content:D

I've found that cartridges differ in how long they last. Some don't last very long but I've had one that lasted a day and a half with me puffing on it virtually all the time. The battery went flat before the cartridge ran out.

You can also get e-liquid to refill your cartridges with. It comes in different flavours too. I particularly like the cherry and vanilla flavours with my son preferring the Marlborough. Smokester from this forum is a supplier and very good. In fact, he's got excellent service.

I'm a heavy smoker but I reckon using my e-cig is saving me at least £20 - £25 or more a week:D

Just don't do what I did the other day - drop the e-cig onto concrete. I broke my battery:cry:

The only snag with owning an e-cig now is that I want a pen-style, a supermini, the new DSE901b (Mini) (It's a Mini I've got at the moment and it's very good). Still, the family know what to get me for birthdays and Christmas presents now:thumb:

I think I would just take delight at the smoke production, I have forgotten what real ciggies taste like now I think and enjoy the taste of using my £1.99 vanilla flavoured plastic cigarette but since it doesn't smoke, its just not the same! I ended up chewing the end. So I think I will enjoy my electronic cigarette! Next payday, extra batteries and a few more atomizers if I like it! Also thank you so much for the advice, now its just a matter of waiting very patiently :D

Hi Tribal - Welcome! You're going to love this forum - absolutely great people here!
I definitely agree with Mr.Darcy; don't spend too much at first. I wound up buying all sorts of different styles (mini's, super-mini's cigars, pipe's, pen's, etc, etc.) but in the end I always come back to my trusty pen-style :)

(although I am seriously considering buying a Janty Yentl Kissbox)

I think my brother will be very impressed when I go to smoke with him with my E-cigarette! I'm going to stick with the penstyle for now since I don't mind about the size very much, it also looks very comfy to hold and stylish! Maybe when I have got used to it I will invest in a smaller one for smoking out and about and use the penstyle at home :D

I want a penstyle in blue but the only penstyle in that colour I've seen so far is very expensive. I have plans to do something with it that will really make it stand out.

Watch this space as they say:D
You must mean the Diva Indigo. Yeah, that's why I picked indigo, because no one else has that color. Well, no one else has the pink either, but that's too feminine for me. :p

I am so excited to receive my e-cigarette I just can't wait! Luckilly, I have been reading loads of posts around the forum about how to clean the atomiser, the best brands, how people gave up smoking etc, thats kept me busy but I still wish I could fast forward time to get my parcel!!! Anyway a quick question about how you charge the E-cigarette batteries. Probably stupid question but can you smoke the e-cig whilst charging or does another battery need to be used?
Is it wise to have many spoare batteries along with the atomisers!? Also when should I clean my e-cig? me clueless until it arrives :D You guys are so friendly, I will have to tell ya all about it when it comes!!

How many spares is good I wonder? I know I will be needing more than the spare atomiser I ordered with my penstyle but as for the batteries, does it make more sense to buy another penstyle for its parts and the extra charger and carts every once in a while? its wasteful but I suppose its worth a try asking if he can keep the chargers for spares!
